|
Rovers 1960s tribute night - Raith Rovers Former Players' Association and Rovers Down South are organising a tribute to the promotion winning team of 1967 - mind that 7-2 game against Queen of the South - and other players who graced the 2 blue stripes during that era. This will build on last season's Frank Connor tribute night.
When: Friday 15 March at 7.00 pm
Where: The Abbey Hotel, Milton Road, Kirkcaldy
Who: Player of the Year Gordon Wallace will be there along with a number of other former players (further details to follow as they're confirmed)
Why: why not?...............and to raise funds for the Under 15/16s and Raith Rovers
What's the price: £25 - a 2 course meal, a ticket for a "deluxe" raffle to include a signed 1960s strip, and a chance to meet the former players
There will also be a Q&A session with the players, and an auction of Rovers memorabilia

I've shoved this on Fan Talk.
This will be a great night out, the great side of 1967, who can forget that 7-2 drubbing of Queen of the South, the last game of the season to clinch promotion. Rovers go wild in the sun... an amazing day, brilliant memories.
The late 1960s was a great time to be a Rovers fan.
Our tickets are booked! |
