Sergeant
Junkstar
Rilkin
King Creosote
Certain Death
Paranoid Monkeys
The Draymin
The Manikees
- They'll all have myspaces.
There's also an open mic night every wednesday at Betty Nichols for some great acoustic acts, and you can also take a chance at the Greenside in Leslie for some other local bands. _________________ if you're having girl problems I feel bad for you son, i've got 99 problems but a football team ain't one. hit me! |

Loved the Beta band and some of King Biscuit Time's stuff, though haven't heard much of Steve Mason's newer stuff under the monikers Black Affair and Good Face. Not so keen on the Aliens though, much prefer Gordon Anderson's solo stuff as Lone Pigeon. _________________ "I exercise extreme self control. Brady Cole were really good, bought an EP of theirs but never got round to see them live. They've got a new frontman i'm told, so I've not a clue what like they are now. The Lost Generation are pretty good aswel. |

Brady Cole have split up. Their drummer Sean has gone down to study music in London and as far as i'm aware are not looking for anyone else. _________________ if you're having girl problems I feel bad for you son, i've got 99 problems but a football team ain't one. hit me! |

Interestingly a US of A radio programme that broadcast live gigs. If you google Wolfgang's Vault (you can register for free) and get to listen to some interesting concerts going back to the 60s/70s. _________________

I see that King Creosote will be a support act at Scone Palace for Runrig's concert at the end of August. I have bought my ticket - anyone else going? |

The Draymin split up a while ago , they were amazing live as well
Sergeant ar ok in local pubs but you notice their limitations on a bigger stage eg at titp and supporting Oasis they were pretty mediocre |
