Don't think it made a difference, the people of Fife know that Kitty's & Kandy is the place to be.

Another terrific event, you should be very pleased/proud with yourself Quinny. The refurbished Kandy room was a surprisingly good venue and I thought having acoustic/solo singers in there was a great idea. Some of the newer bands were really good too. I heard there were around 600 people there - amongst them the entire Raith 1st team squad - so well done!

Great day/night had yet again, I've been to all 8 and will always go to every one as its something completely different to what is usually on offer in Kirkcaldy.

No 1 sun stole the show for me. The girl in Kandy with the spikey hair with the red streaks was also a superb singer.

Hopefully this has made the club a few bob!

It was another great gig and my thanks goes out to everyone who came along to it once again.I alsow ant to thank all thos ewho intro`d bands ally g,alex c,dave w and one LAWRENCE ELLIS who is a natural at it. Wink The staff at kittys and kandy are 2nd to none and looked after everyone who attended. The sponsors were great aswell because without them i would struggle to pay the acts.It was good to see the players who i think enjoyed the tunes especially dennis alexander teaching them new raith songs.I also want to thank all the lads from fife`s finest who spent all day humphing the bands gear on and off the stages. The bands were superb and put on a great show and despite all the technical problems which gave me a headache we got there in the end.We didnt raise as much as last year but theres a few factors involved in that but i still can give the club a few quid. Thanks and hopefully see you all there at next years gig.

As an "oldie" I can recommend Rock the Rovers as having something for everyone. A great community event and the party of golf caddies added extra spice to a terrific crowd.
No.1 Sun - always value for money - but the first time visit from spikey haired Steph was the standout for me: Everything from Tina Turner to Emeli Sande.
Superb organisation Quinny and the guys in red were good natured, effective and appropriately lubricated.
Thanks and roll on RtR9.

Well done Quinny and co for a very well organised and enjoyable day. It takes a huge amount of effort for weeks and months leading up to an event such as this as well as on the day itself.
Here's to RTR9.
