I am going to ask a few questions here and maybe someone from the fundraising group will tell me the answers.
1.WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH THE RALLY ROUND ROVERS CAMPAIGN ?
2.WHAT MONEY HAS BEEN MADE SO FAR?
3.WHAT ARE THE FANS FORUM DOING ?
4.WHY NO REGULAR UPDATES ON FUNDS RAISED ?
A few questions that i hope we get answers for or at least a wee update on whats happening.cheers

I've not been to the last two meetings due to other commitments.
Phoning the club or emailing Dave Wann would be the likliest source of info. |

The club wouldnt tell us anything as its fans who are raising the money and i see dave in styx every home game so you would think he would be able to tell me how things were going.I am also selling the new version of geordie munro and i was going to put any money raised from that towards the fund but if no one is going to help me then i cant do it.

Surely Dave Wann(allegedly fans rep) should be putting any info out to all fans as opposed to individuals having to contact him.
Club only becomes or claims to be transparent for the period when they are needing the supporters to dig into their pockets.

But Dave Wan isn't the fans rep. He only represents the opinions of certain supporter groups. All Raith fans are equal but some are more equal than others.

All raith fans should be represented by the fans rep not just those on the forum which some folk dont even know exists.If dave isnt representing all the fans then there should be another person put forward to go on the board.That way there would be 2 fans on the board representing different groups/people.

Maybe a point you can direct towards Dave Wann?
The last I saw of the fundraising effort was that we were over 10k and expecting the Hall of Fame night to significantly improve this.
This was documented in the FFP at the time.
I completely agree with Gav's point that a fans rep should represent the whole of the fanbase. As Vinnie states, the majority of supporters aren't part of the supporter's groups but obviously have equally important input to our club. |

First of all zeeks i do enough as it is and wouldnt have time to even contemplate taking it on anyway i doubt the club will accept a 2nd fan on board.The fans rep should represent all supporters but it wont happen either as the forum wouldnt accept that.It wouldnt be so bad if the fan base knew what the forum does and how hard they are working as a group to help the club but they dont.We were involved so i know who is on it but it would be good if they were a bit more open.I also dont doubt for one minute the fundraising isnt a success but its good to know these things especially as they are meant to be trying to raise 80k this season.I have said in the past that i would give any money raised from the geordie munro song but no one has been in touch to help yet or to find out whats raised from sales.
