What does this season hold for Dario?
Last season he was the poster boy for the first half, scoring goals for fun, but once the opposition doubled up on him/ showed him onto his left foot, he was no
longer a threat. As the goals dried up, Dario, always a confidence player, became less influential.
Towards the end of the season the boo boys started and this counter-productive feature continued into the current season.
Initially, IM played Dario but he's not an IM type of player. He doesn't press and he can't tackle. I don't think he gives up, but when things don't come off, his form slumps and he ends up losing the ball repeatedly.
Will IM seek to send him out on loan?
That seems on the cards because 1) IM says he's looking for a winger 2) IM has stopped fielding Dario even as a sub (eg Zanatta for Ethan Ross seemed a natural
swap yesterday, but on came Quinn Coulson )
Personally, I like Dario, but doubt if he is in IM's plans. It's not uncommon for one or two players, at least, to drop out of the reckoning when a new manager comes in.

To whom would we be able to loan him? He’s certainly on wages that anyone below the Championship would balk at paying a decent portion of, so what percentage do we need to see paid to be happy? Airdrie and Kelty come to mind.

Most likely go to a club like Dumbarton queen of the South or maybe airdrie due to airdrie maybe having a relationship with IM

Given Sim’s complaints and comments about JMcG’s contracts, probably pretty decent, Championship level wages?

Nothing against Dario, seems a nice lad and obviously has ability. It does seem apparent that he is down the pecking order with our manager and his with his contribution since the 1st few months of last season, it’s not difficult to see why.

I’ve no idea if we are actively trying to offload him, loan or otherwise but other possible destinations? he has had a successful stint at Queens Park in past? McGlynn might think he can uncover his spark again at Falkirk?

If it frees up funds and the option to add to our squad then think a move before September will suit all parties..

He's been loaned out most of his career up till he got a 1 year deal at Partick, who freed him to then play for Ayr on a 1 year deal, McGlynn then in his ultimate wisdom thought it was a super idea to give him a 2 year deal, hes not exactly set the heather alight anywhere he's been apart from his little stint at the begining of last season,
Even if hes kept here till next summer its hard to see where he goes from here, maybe Falkirk and McGlynn or at least lower Div is his level

It's become clear that IM demands a strong work ethic from all players which you don't associate with DZ. The first 4 months last season it looked like JMcG had pulled a masterstroke by finally getting a tune out of him. Since December he looks like the player we all remember from his previous spells. I hope a parting of the ways happens to free up what i would guess to be a very good contract.

Queens Park lacks wingers, so a decent shout…but also in our League, something I doubt we wish to repeat. Falkirk doesn’t need forwards/wingers, but Airdrie sure does.

Sims complaints and comments about MvGlynn were valid and I haven,t a clue what Championship level wages are if theres such a thing.Guessing wages in the championship will be pretty varied depending in team, budget etc

Please don’t compare Zanatta to Vaughan. Vaughan was a fan favourite who most felt should still be playing for ourselves, not loaned out anywhere let alone a relegation rival.

I would have little issue with Zanatta going on loan to Queens Park (or anybody in our league) if it suited ourselves and the player himself so longs he didn’t play against us which is easily stipulated.

A better scenario (this is obviously presuming Murray doesn’t see him playing much part this season) would be for him to find another club (be it this division or any other) and us to release him from his contract

Agree Vinnie…but, contrawise, Falkirk currently have 6 forwards, 2 left wings, and a total of 27 players…Airdrie have 5 forwards, no wingers and a total of 16 players…

Starting to think it's JM training drills that's the problem and not a rovers problem if that's the case then thank god lol
