Just when we are building a good squad, rumours we've heard over the last couple of weeks are quite depressing.... Tumilty is going and even Sam Stanton is going????
I just hope its wrong as they are very good players for us. |

I hope we get good compensation for him, he's contracted to 2024. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

Wasn't Kevin Nisbet under contract as well though. I guess it's all about the clauses. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

You think we'd learn from that one. I think it would have been daft to have a non-promotion clause in Stanton's contract. But every under contract player has their price. |

I thought that Sam Stanton had his best game for The Rovers last night.
Maybe Stanton came to us on the understanding that he was in the shop window and we wouldn't stand in his way, IF a decent offer came in,especially if we didn't win promotion, who knows. If the rumours that he's not happy are true, this may not be surprising, given the run we were on since he came. He may be happier now or be more unsettled (as many of the fans are ) because players like Spencer and RT are out of contract or the unknown management situation. |

Knew Tumilty was away, Musonda is almost certainly gone… Stanton surely commands a fee if he were to leave?!
We only have Dick, Berra and Lang signed on for next season defender wise…
Dick hasn’t impressed me this season either defending OR going forward, Berra is in his very twilight, obviously niggling injuries are affecting him more and for longer. Lang impressed but an ACL injury brings lots of question marks.
The most important rumour/fact is will we have a manager soon and how soon? At this level, building a squad should be starting as soon as season is over. |

This being left in limbo to stew is infutriating to say the least, is this just another way the club find to treat its support, after the signing fiasco you'd think they would be a bit more open and honest
At least give us some reassurance that matters are in hand |

Vinnie
Heard from a few fans talking about these two going, unsure where their sources find the news?
I just hope its wrong.
And Frankie Musounda is obviously going. However, he was hot and cold IMO. |

Thanks WJ - will be interesting to see what comes of those 'advanced discussions' and still wonder if he has had his head turned towards other avenues for him to explore. _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |
