Ach well, it was fun while it lasted.

If they get the 'new manager bounce' it'll be against teams other than us who you'd want to drop points, and if they don't get the new manager bounce, they'll be cut further adrift.

Win - win.

Funny thing is if they win on Saturday then they'll be off the bottom and quite possibly out of the bottom two places.

I'd just about take that.
Queen of the South would have to lose to us for that to happen.

The usual uninspiring list of names being linked with the job as well, of course.

Brian Rice, John Robertson, David Hopkin, Dick Campbell, Kenny Miller and Barry Ferguson all apparently interested via different papers.

Mark Fotheringham being mentioned in today's Courier. Has been coaching in Germany with Kirkcaldy's twin, Ingolstadt. Speaks fluent German. It begins to add up given who actually now owns DAFC.

Mixu Paatelainen was seen in Edinburgh last week. His job in Hong Kong went belly up, am sure he'll be in for in. Would not be surprised if he had be tapped up before the weekend.

Watch out for the likes of Zorniger, Kauczinski and Kocian, with the last two being unemployed and German owners (yes I know Kocian is a Slovak) I wouldn't be surprised if they got a European coach. Think we can rule Koeman out though

This can only go two ways. There won't be any grey areas. I think he might actually turn them around. He's enough about him to scrape by. It's going to make the forthcoming derby matches somewhat interesting. I wonder if the new manager bounce or karma will get them a win against former employers ICT tomorrow?

He'll be hoping he's head hunted whilst the majority of Pars fans will be very happy with him being hunted.😊

I’m certainly not a fan of Hughes after his stint with us and hope it goes the same way along there but on paper, he isn’t a bad choice for them.
