Another sad day for those of us of a certain vintage.
Made his debut at 15! If ever a case of being good enough no matter your age.
He could certainly hit a ball.
A proud Dundonian who made Yorkshire and Leeds United his life. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Saw him play a few times for Scotland and as Scotty says you had to be a brave man to face one of his free kicks. Also saw him play for Leeds against Hibs at Easter Road 7th November 1973 in the UEFA Cup I thought it was the old Fairs City Cup. Leeds had a brilliant side then ably captained by Billy Bremner. Hibs were a very good team then as well. RIP Peter. |
