With the talk that Willie Gray wants to charge away fans £22 for entry into their miserable little stadium surely no Raith fan wants to pay thst kind of money which will go into Grays coffers.

I'm not saying that we don't support the club, instead we should attend the game on mass perhaps 500 - 1000 fans, get behind the wall and give our support from the mound.

Each fan can then donate £10 to Raith Rovers meaning that the club benefit from £5000 - £10000.

Any thoughts!!!!

I'm 100% behind any sort of idea like this. Count me in.

If we were to do this right then buckets could be passed round with £10 donations going. The fans could then present the club a cheque at the next home game with a nice article going into the press which basically makes Willie Gray and his team of castoffs looking stupid.

But who will be seen as trustworthy enough? Probs be better to have one person from each of the supporters groups collecting, and then them meeting up, tallying the funds and organising depositing it at Starks...................

My fear would be trouble starting outside the ground. I wouldn't want anything to detract from East Fife making themselves look like the bitter nasty little club gr*y has turned them into. I like the idea of donating £10 to the Rovers but lets not tempt fate by garthering in methil. Is there possibility of an U-19 game being moved to Stark's Park instead? Imagine the publicity of a bigger crowd there then along the road.

Only problem with doing anything in the ground is that the ground staff and officials will be at the game.

There was talk of having a quiz/beer tasting possibly down at the Port Brae, think Zicoromaines started a topic on it. How about doing it on the 8th November?

If we're serious about this, and believe me, i am, then we should try and get the Scottish media on our side, and make E*st Fi*e look as bad as possible. A wee phone call the night before to each of the major newspapers could do wonders Wink

Why don't you phone them? You certainly have alot to say on issues on here so why not give them a bell.
