Price hikes are a sad inevitability of the times (past & present)

Looking at some on-line sites tonight I see that you can still get a ticket (and it is only for the ticket!) to see;
Spurs v Cheski £250
or
Bolton v W Brom £150

Those prices are of course through agencies but I have been informed that at St James Park is £54 for a seat behind the goal at the Sir John Hall end.

VFM? I wouldn't say so personally but at around £500 for the season ticket it starts to look a bit better.

Perhaps £14 to see RRFC isn't so bad, at least you have an unrestricted veiw from a covered seat unlike many other venues.

Premiership prices are crazy. I'm amazed that the fans down there haven't revolted yet.

Have yuo seen how much it cost a concert ticket for a top artist like U2,
Springsteen, Eagles £ 90 or more for 2 hours Entertainment.

Is not just football or Scottish football to be to expensive for the quality
In Germany and Italy too they have the same problem.

Entertainment/football is it the only industry not cutting prices because of
the crunch?

You can get cheap tickets for Bundesliga games for around 10-14 Euros. The cheapest season ticket is between 120 and 187 Euros. In Germany they claim even that is too high!

Most of the Euro-leagues are massively subsidesed by their cable and satellite tv (Like the premiership?) companies and have been since the 90's. Keeping the cost of games down makes for bigger gates even though many of them are being screened live unlike in Scotland where (outside the OF) a live game (eg Killie v 'Well) may only have 4000 or so.

Also the sponsorship throughout the clubs in Europe is massive. From sponsors on every conceivable panel on shorts, shirts and socks being covered as well as the pitch side.

Having went to Milan last year, that isn't the case, tickets start at €11 and i was sitting in great seats for €28 (which was about £20 at the time).

sound strange to me as the average price for the cheapest tickets all over Italy is about €25 and TRUST ME I WELL KNOW what I'm talking about...

It sounds like the Brechin game was great value for money. £7.50 for a 4 goal demolition with free flowing football into the bargain. I hope we can keep up the level of performance (and results) in the next 6 games.
