Hmm, in my opinion, its a bit worrying that we're calling for the head of McGlynn when we're not a million miles away from the title. People seem to forget that the title race is (realistically) down to two sides; Raith Rovers and Ayr Utd. Neither of those teams have a god-given right to win every game and winning every single game just isn't going to happen.
For sure, McGlynn (and Smith) send the players onto the pitch with instructions but players, although probably trying to adhere to instructions, don't always follow them. Fair enough, if we had the size of squad that the Man Utd and Chelseas of this world do, then McGlynn would likely drop those that go against his instruction. But we don't have the depth at all to make widespread changes.
We're challenging for promotion and thats all we can ask of McGlynn. Continuity is what is required, it takes many years to stamp your mark on the club, just look what Davie Moyes is doing at Everton now. I hope that we stick by McGlynn even if we fail in promotion, as another manager will have to start the new season with a team full of players that aren't chosen by him. Its a vicious circle, and i'm glad that the Rovers buck the trend and stick by their manager, as well publicised manager departures this season show.
We also forget that the only team challenging with us is Ayr, and if i recall correctly (please correct me if i'm wrong), that Ayr have spent high wages this season. If thats the case, then i'm happy the Rovers are attempting to live more within their means and challenging for the title that we, as fans of Raith Rovers, should get behind for every single remaining minute of this season. |

agree with everything you have said mcglynn has done loads for this club, some of my friends claim they are rovers fan's but don't go to the games and likes to think if we get beat we are rubbish, alot of people on this forum are the same.

| dont think its all down to mcglynn he wants to win the league and he is not the one stepping on the pitch every week yes he picks the team with the belief that, that is best side to go out and win unlucky against ayr BUT for games before scraping together wins and draws which for a team top of the league and wanting promotion aint good i just hope now we win all our games till the end of the season and ayr slip up heres hoping a lot of prayin will be involved |

aye your right like my post said before i read this i am your m8 but i am a fan who cant attend a lot cos of mrs hitler, i would like to see more love for the team by the players at the club and more love of the game and the opertunity to get ourselves into the 1st which is a hard league. |

Of course employees do love their work and employer at times but players like the majority of us work to gain financial benefit to enable us to live a decent life, players are no different.
Of course there are super over paid players and at times they don't love their club. |

totally agree with you but if these players want a future in the game surely they should strive to give there best in all competitions. who at the minute is well paid ? some of these players should follow the attitude and belief that the job can be done and the job is not yet finished ! |
