Absolutely! Leaving him to run in unchallenged once is awful but to do it four minutes later! Criminal and totally inexcusable!😡

Airdrie are miles ahead of us. Closing down, passing freely and two great finishes.

A first half horror show!
Nowhere near being in the game. Only hope is a quick reposte in the second and then just go for it big time. Will that happen?
Yes, you are correct saying "nope"☹️

Hoofball is what we've been playing.
Hamilton, Easton and Byrne off. Ewan Murray , Vaughan and Rudden on. And if we can swap Murray for McCabe that would help as well.

IM has to take some responsibility for this fiasco.
SCOTT BROWN is NOT at home in central defense.
His and Watson’s “ experience” have together been at least ‘ partially at fault for numerous conceded goals.

IM has to recognize that his choice of central defensive positions has resulted in calamitous soft goals.

How many times this season are we gonna allow attackers to waltz down the middle of the park with NOBODY going to close them down.

I am also of the opinion that too much time is spent during training playing “ head tennis”. It is so ingrained in the players that they go into matches continuing to play it instead of bring the ball down and looking to pass it to someone wearing the same coloured shirt!!.

Terrible first half performance, Watson and S.Brown are NOT a safe pairing.
On a positive note, the commentators are FAR superior to the usual “ we are not biased” guys.
Sounds like an actual footballer doing an excellent job of commentary for us TV viewers.
PLEASE sign this duo up for further matches if this is possible…..PLEASE.

Dinnae worry about the commentators.
They'll be around for well into the foreseeable future.👍

You'll need to shout louder and longer than that for Murray to hear you.

Chucking on random subs isn't helping. We are not scoring three for no reply with just twenty minutes to go. What this is going to do for the morale for the remainder of the season doesn't bear thinking about.

What little hope there was is now gone.
It's the little hope that kills you. Connolly hits the post and minutes later they get a third 🥺

Airdrie were excellent. Just hope we don’t meet them again this season. But would argue they look good for promotion. Hate to say that but they really have the technical ability to dominate us. Disappointed but think our set up was better in the second half and hopefully Mr Murray sees that our McGill is a pretty good player.

McCabe outthought Murray tonight. His players were sharper to close down every ball and didn’t give us a chance in the first half. Some Murrayball in the second gave us a shout but Airdrie miles ahead and deserved to win.

Also, Rudden won more headers in the second half than Hamilton in the first.

Why no Vaughan when we need goals? Something amiss?

That panned out pretty much as expected to be honest. No great surprise.
The real damage in all honesty was done in the previous two Arbroath games.
We're definitely in last chance saloon territory here. Morton has to beat United and if we can recover against Partick then everything is back on.
None of these scenarios are likely to happen but you've to hope that there's still a straw strong enough to clutch🥺

Well, that was overall poor.
2nd half was considerably better when S. BROWN moved to midfield.

I am losing a certain amount of faith in IM.
The S. Brown / Watson partnership simply does not work.
For a Team that is Second in the league, we certainly manage to leak goals far too often. Rolling Eyes .

Maybe too much tinkering is going on. They as a collective are certainly hot and cold far too often.

More often we are back to the John mcGlyn era of only playing well for 45 mins and rubbish the other 45.

We Desperately need Patrick to boot out Airdrie if the chance comes up coz we certainly seem unable to beat them. ( they appear to have replaced ICT as our bogey team).

4000 crowd great for a midweek game.
Many of them will disappear as quickly as they turned up if IM doesn’t sort the team out.
With the strength and depth of this squad, if they fail at the end, then methinks a lot of the blame must be laid at the feet of the manager.

Highlight of the night was the commentators, FAR more professional and talked good football commentary more like you hear on the Telly .👏👏👍👍
