That is a massive result!
Well done everyone for hanging in when under a lot of pressure. Imagine if Hamilton had taken the chances how much easier it could have been.

If I’m right the Pars now can’t catch us on points.

Get in!
A brilliant 3 points, but nothing has changed, everything is still in our own hands.

1 point behind top, breathing (heavily/asthmatically, delete as appropriate) down Utd's neck.
17 points clear of 3rd with 24 to play for.
20 points clear of 4th with 27 to play for.
21 points clear of 5th with 27 to play for.

CANNOT be caught by 6th place team Queens, (not that that was likely).

To be honest I couldn't care less about them. It's what happens going forward from tonight a game at a time that counts. The run of away games will not be easy but we just need to buckle down and get as many positive results as we can. As Scotty says...it's still all in our own hands.

: Sad
Not doing my blood pressure much good.

Under the cosh for long periods. Little bit better, “cool heads” needed.

We gave the ball away far too often. But, A win is a win, they dug it out.

No complaints.
Dunno how big Kev gets away with all the time wasting but that’s the Ref to blame for allowing it.
👏👏👏

Rode our luck at the end, but I'd have been raging if that decision to penalise Hamilton, when Stanton was clean through, had cost us.
Never a foul - the defender was weak.

That was a tough watch. Out played most of the game although I thought the defence stood up well and now have back to back clean sheets. As previously said, big Kev doesn't half waste time.

I thought Turner played very well, his best game for us and he can put a good ball in.

Without Mullen, we struggle down the right, neither Connelly or Smith are the answer.

Good to see normal service is resumed with the obligatory one goal victory.👏
I'm humble enough to take back my criticism of Turner earlier on. He certainly proved me wrong and came on to a very good game overall as well as his excellent free kick cross into the box for Murray's goal

I mean, that wasn’t great. It was very much a copy paste job of Pars game.

Had Partick had their shooting boots on and/or a wee bit more luck then different outcome but right now more than ever it’s about points 1st and performance 2nd.

Need to improve on that to get a win at Hampden I’d imagine…

Two wins on thre trot, but two clean sheets on the trot. Missed chances, but clean sheets are a good thing to build on.

I was a bit puzzled by the starting line-up and a long game at 1-0, but the players held out where they might not have before.

When I heard Vaughan made a clearance, I though IM had played him at CB! Wink

If the Pars do us a favour on Friday, we have the chance to go top on Saturday. United have a worse record against them than we do. That said, it would be yet another milestone for the Rovers to actually capitalise, if that were to happen. Taking advantage of United's slip-ups has not been our strong-point this season.

Partick extermely unlikely to catch us on points now, let alone anyone else below us. By my calculatations too - QP, the Pars and Inverness cannot catch us on points although (technically) any of them could still get into / meet us in the play-offs at this stage.

Great work by IM and the boys!

Partick extremely unlikely to catch us?

They,re nearer to the relegation play off spot than us,in fact Arbroath could catch Thistle Laughing

Anyway, deserved win as we scored and they didni

Well said, Vinnie. Comments that we were outplayed are wide of the mark. We made the same number of chances 2nd half as they did, and we scored the only goal.

To paraphrase what both McPake (on Saturday) and Doolan (tonight) said, it's not about the amount if possession, it's what a team does with the ball when they have it.

We have the potential to score, or to provide the cutting edge from many different players and positions - most other teams at this level lack that

Had Hamilton not made a pigs ear of his two glorious opportunities it would've been a lot easier on the old ticker
