We have absolutely lost the plot.

Five straight defeats is completely unacceptable. Managers have been sacked for less.

It's not unacceptable as these things happen in football but what is just about unacceptable is offering your manager a three year extension without waiting to see how the full season pans out.

There is no one taking charge and ‘conducting the orchestra’ as it were.
11 individuals not knowing what they are doing.

The missing ingredient is called Sam Stanton.

Yeah we are missng Stanton but one man doesn,t make a team

Poor display and result but at least now we can concentrate on winning the league Wink

Maybe time for a spoof film clip sequel. How about ‘Clueless’, or ‘Nightmare on Pratt Street’?

So five straight defeats from a team sitting second top of the Championship is acceptable is what you are saying?

That's a bold statement.

Concentrate on winning the league Vinnie? I know you just jesting but on current form (and performance wise most of the season) that ship has sailed. It's surely inconceivable that we won't win another game this season. Please someone tell me that it really is inconceivable that we won't win another game this season because taking it a game at a time I'm struggling to see when we will.
Ian Murray has to carry the can for this current crisis. I'm not even bothered about not signing another defender because it wouldn't matter who we had as the system is at fault. Murray to me has ran out of ideas how to arrest this slump and week in week out is changing line ups and formations in the hope that somehow, magically, everything will work out fine. Alas the tactic of passing it about the back line two or three times until the full back receives it who then lofts a long ball up the line is quickly figured out and nullified. Unfortunately that's all we have. Granted it's not helped by players losing their form all at the same time. Vaughan and Connelly have lost their shooting boots, Smith is completely off the boil and Easton has an eye on whatever championship club he's probably signed a pre contract with. The only player who has been doing well and what is expected of him is Jack Hamilton so of course he was dropped for a loanee who has hardly kicked a ball this season.
In summary we were out fought on the pitch, looked like we were out worked on the training pitch and we were out thought in the dugout.

That's the only saving grace as things stand, that we somehow have been able to cling on to second top spot. There's a lot still to be played for but going with the current state of affairs we'll be very fortunate indeed to still be in that position at the end of this month. A win against United would help restore a fair bit of faith but that's looking highly improbable on current form, managerial tactics and team selection.

Dreadful game of football, truly dreadful.
If Sam Stanton can turn this round then we'll all have to contribute to his statue.

That was embarrassing!

How can a whole squad of players lose form, lose ability and skill and they haven't the brains to keep the ball on the deck instead of hoofing it around the pitch in a howling gale?

And worse we have two experienced coaches, who were both skilled football players who haven't a clue about tactics, teaching basic skills, any idea in how to change a game, and set up the team to WIN a game.

Goalkeeper, a couple of good saves, but otherwise below average. Distribution is CRAP.

Defence - laughable, we must have the the worst full backs, hoofballers, lack basic skills like trapping a ball, ability in heading a ball to a RRFC player.

Midfield - Missing in action for weeks.

Forwards - a difficult job when your team mates havent a clue how to pass to you.

The two recent signings are dreadful,

We had two very good players in Daniel O'Reilly and Jamie Gullane and let them go!!!!!

That's the bit that boils my urine. Neither have been anywhere near an improvement on the two that have left us.

Disappointed, deflated and frustrated in equal measure.

Keith Watson isn’t capable at this level anymore, I get it’s his first game back but my goodness, Berra was twice the player he was when he hung up the boots. Corr simply cannot be worse than Watson.

Easton has been a waste of a shirt for weeks. I think we might have had 3 shots on target the whole game but never looked close to actually scoring. Vaughan the only player with a degree of class.

All of this shoehorned into a formation that was found out 6 matches ago but hey, it’ll work next week.

Mega premature giving Iain Murray a 3 year deal. The way we are playing just now I have no belief that we can get anything against United and wonder where another win is coming from.

Teams have our first half of the season summed up now. Pack the midfield and don’t allow us to pass through the middle.

Murray packs our midfield with small, lightweight players that don’t have a tackle in them. Ross Matthews must be wondering why he can’t get game time now he’s fit.

Easton has been a passenger in the team ever since the hype he received after the United game.

Would far rather see McGill in for Millen at RFB.

Unless our form picks up again, Partick will finish in 2nd place.

Confused Utterly clueless.

Strong wind? Get the ball in the air Evil or Very Mad .....why why why?

Collectively, the whole squad have lost their form.

I know not the answer, but I would hook any body that insists on just hoofing the ball to nowhere and to no one. Confused

Murray needs to arrange a couple of bounce games against kdy high school , hopefully that will do the trick. Confused
IM must be pulling his hair out as I can’t believe he told the team to play that way tonight.

The players simply couldn’t cope with the wind, so why hoof it so often Question

I expect IM to tell the truth when interviewed and not make excuses.

‘‘Twas a sad night and Airdrie deserved their victory.”🤬

Surely you'd want a couple of bounce games against sides we'd beat?
