Ach well! Kinda knew we could lose this one but it's only the second loss so far this season. Not too despondent as we've hit a poor patch. Softened greatly with United losing.

I think it's the manner in how we lost that's the most concerning matter. Getting beat by a better team is fine if you make them earn the victory. To never threaten the opposition goal and be second best to everything throughout is at best poor.
This result doesn't surprise me as we've scaped by so many times with late late goals to maybe gloss over other defects. The most important thing is to reset and go again playing well for the full ninety minutes.

It looks like the fans are not the only ones missing Stanton! The team looks more disjointed, less direction to their undoubted effort, and as though there’s a piece missing from the jigsaw!
Someone has to step up and take charge (in a playing sense). Hopefully Matthews will continue to improve and get back to his best!
As for Todorov - he is probably our biggest bogey opponent and has been ever since he contrived to get Ian Davidson sent off!
