I don't think anyone has questioned Millens role in their goal and that certainly wasn't my intention. It's more that we didn't get ourselves set up properly after they took a quick goal kick after Millens shot had went over. I mean both Brown and Bynre were still in the Dunfermline half. Not sure that's where you want your two defensive midfielders to be when they are supposed to be shielding the backline. The highlights and camera position doesn't do it justice or maybe it's just my memory playing tricks but I remember at the time of their move beginning thinking that out defensive shape was all wrong. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Looks like the match has hit the headlines for the wrong reason. It’s all over the news and papers regarding the sickening assault on a disabled Rovers fan. _________________ Two pints prick |

It was a young 18year old lad who used hearing aids which have been damaged or destroyed. He was waiting for a bus on Halbeath Road when set upon.
It's been all over the news on the tele tonight, Cuparman. BBC Scotland had a reporter reporting live from outside East End earlier in the evening. Even stated that the video was too violent to show. They used a couple of stills.
Social media is full of it, e.g. Rovers Facebook page, The 'Other Channel' aka Pie and Bovril match thread and the Pars Halbeath Road one. Also on X formerly Twitter. It's online at the Dundee Courier and no doubt other publications.
Surprised you didn't hear or see anything over on your side about this. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

The good news is the general condemnation by the Pars fans on P&B, the SNW Organizer and members (involved are not member) and a good message from the Pars themselves. Props to all of them. |

But that’s bull because I know for a fact that one of them (at the very least) IS a member of that SNF so if all it takes is for someone I know to double check with someone they know to confirm that fact then clearly this group know this and are simply lying! Probably cause they are crapping themselves at the thought of any retribution.
Also, what did you expect Dunfermline FC, or the majority of fans to come out and say? “Props”? For what? Not standing up for the scum? |

Under normal circumstances, due to age probably very little would be done, legal wise. However, when there is severe condemnation and public outcry the courts tend to do more, within their powers.
Time will tell. |

Time will be most likely community service with a fine.
But as long as it's fixed for a Saturday afternoon or any other time when there's a match on then a wee bit of payback at least. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Be surprised if they receive any.We have weak sentencing laws in Scotland
Even if they received community service and a fine its getting them to actually carry out the CS and a fine will be paid up at 50p a week _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

Affects job prospects, certain social activities, potentially restrictions on attending matches, monitored by police. The list goes on _________________ Two pints prick |
