I'm hoping for a decent result from this one on the assumption that hard lessons have been learned from today's performance.
Fingers crossed for a win as ever.
A Guid New Year to you and everyone else.🍻🥃

Aye Embow. Yesterday was most definitely dreadful with so many guys just off the boil. I feel so sorry for Tex, who travelled all that way only to witness a terrible performance which, apart from Ayr, had recently been so good?

The only consolation for Tuesday's game is: The Pars, against Ayr, were TWO up at half time, and they also squandered a lead for a draw. So. The Game's there for the taking.

We'll be fine.
Even if it goes to the line.

After the recent collapses, what does Murray do to try and rectify things, given that Stantons out for the next several weeks , a possibility that O'Reilly isn't with us, Watson seems to have fallen of a cliff, Corr & Mathews cant get minutes for love nor money.

Pars with injury problems lol, this has all the hallmarks of another draw about it

With the Pars missing several important players through injury we really should be expecting to pick up maximum points. Had we managed to beat Arbroath and Ayr then I would have probably settled for a draw today but as it is we'll probably need the win if we want to remain top. The fact the the Pars support is seemingly going to be turning out in big numbers and according to Rovers Facebook page as of this morning we have only punted 1500 tickets is a bit concerning. Surely it should be us pulling in more than expected and them being the ones with a subdued turnout?
No idea what would be the best eleven to start today. Byrne and Brown in the middle would certainly tighten it up but we'd lose something going forward. Easton makes things happen but his defensive discipline isn't always the best whereas you could say the opposite for Mullen. Smith has a bit of pace but then who sits out for him? All good problems to have of course and it means we'll have options on the bench I just hope Murray doesn't get caught in two minds abou the best game plan.

Meh, at least we were winning for a while, then the roof fell in. To be honest, I think IM’s tactics were sadly mixed up, and his normally effective substitutions never materialized. Do I blame Shaun Byrne for getting suspended…is that what I’m supposed to say, or Sam Stanton for getting hurt? Fitba is a crap shoot when you plan attendance in advance, I’ll survive, it was still fun.

Now, if IM doesn’t straighten it out for the Pars today, then I’ll be mad.

With Brown, Byrne and Mullen playing we are setting up to be hard to beat. Looking at the Dunfermline line up I think they've been exaggerating their injury list.

Happy it looks to be a 4-2-3-1. Happier to see O’Reilly, be even happier if it was a new contract, but no announcement yet, so probably not.

Big Kev carrying an injury. Not taking goal kicks and throwing the ball up field

Ahead after a slow start. Pleasing 😊
Byrne just back from suspension and gets booked again!
Far too early in the game. Now on a tightrope for the rest of the game.🫣
