Enjoyable listening/viewing every time. I think they should have Tx as a special guest one week.

I really enjoy the Podcast's too, had to laugh at BH's comments about aptitude testing for Rovers fans, 1500? he'd be lucky!
I remember coming to SP in the late 70's with my mate and his dad who moaned like a good un, he was genuinely only happy when he had something to moan about and Rovers used to furnish him with the opportunities....all too often.

Now as an old man myself sadly I find myself sliding into similar grooves. I didn't boo at Arbroath at full time but I certainly cursed them, all the way back to where I'd parked the car. I remember a similar defeat at Arbroath a few seasons ago where I came close to saying "sod them!" altogether, but didn't. What perhaps the guys aren't taking into account is the "Rovers effect" which is in fact multi faceted. This is a fitba team (like many other) with the ability to suck you in and make you believe anything is possible....then let you down (that's exactly the bit some folks can't handle). Conversely they'll go for a spell not doing much and you become immune to defeats and draws and then bang the ******** flip you over again!

The curious bit for me was in dissecting why given how I was so low at Arbroath why I felt differently after the result at Hampden. Ok so I was actually at Arbroath and watched it all unravel and could only watch a computer screen last Saturday, much as I was hoping for a last minute winner there were no dummies or rattles flying when the FT legend came up on Sky Sports. Vitriolic ire 0-1 Pragmatic Calm.

Like Duncan & Co, I'd too said (on Friday) that even if Utd won and we lost it wouldn't be over, and if Utd lost and we won it would be even less over.
The ONNN guys also said that Utd aren't dealing well with pressure though as the Arbroath game showed we are far from masterful in that respect also, my feelings are it'll only ramp upwards from here.
I agree in that win or lose our next game there'll still be nothing decided, however if we go on another 3 game dip like we did in January then that's probably another story, that said I don't think either team will completely collapse and in the end it will go to the final 2 weekends.
Both teams have trips to Cappielow and both face Partick at home, quite possibly our home games against Airdrie and Arbroath may prove the more problematic.......as a moaning old git I'd expect nothing less. Wink
