Listened in on Sportsound. Chick Young mentioned what he thought looked like a punch from Murray to the Queens player. He reckoned the ref just saw an altercation and gave the yellows, but the linesman maybe saw more. I don't know if that's right or not, but in the post-match, IM states it was definately a red. Thankfully, it never cost us the game after all!

I was away from the radio from 70m, so a real surprise to see the final score! Incredible for ten men, losing by a goal. Winning mentality from a team who really believe they can win and that they will win!

Inverness are on fire now. They might not make the play offs, but they are winning games, while the Arbroath bubble seems to have burst.

Could IM engineer a win away to the Pars, a win away to Inverness and even take something at Tannadice? I see we go to Gayfield on the Wednesday and Tannadice on the Saturday! Shocked

As I said, a lunge by Murray.

El Chico needs a better Specsavers prescription, hands on from the QP player only in the afters exchange.

I can't agree with the earlier summary. Yes, QP started the better side, but thgat only lasted 10mins. By the time Lewis put us in front, it was an overdue goal - we'd got in behind them 3 or 4 times, varied play with passing between their lines and occasional through balls oor over the top. They had a couple of incursions, and Kev forced to make one excellent save, but otherwise we took the first half.
Then we had another slow start to the 2nd half (getting to be a bad habit) before Euan Murray's red card changed the game firmly in QP's favour...
At 1-2, it looked all over. But the manager's brave and astute changes gave us a chance, they decided to try to sit on their lead, and we took advantage big-time.
Our comeback so late was a thing of legend, however. There is something special about this squad of players....

Just one other thing. Emotions can run high when late goals turn things around but these stupid pitch invasions will cost us. It could have today as that's where a lot of the extra time came from and we survived a very late penalty claim. The players also should not go running in towards the fans as this makes it worse. Run and celebrate in the technical area with your colleagues.

Very obvious from today's result is how much a cohesive unit of players this group is. Brilliant to see.

Enjoy your weekend folks.😄👍

I'll meet you halfway on this one.
Fans should not be encroaching on to the pitch during the game.
However, much has been made about the current bond between the players and the fans, in comparison to previous seasons, and celebrating goals together is a huge part of that, albeit from different sides of the advertising hoardings.

And a theatrical manoeuvre to win a penalty. Soft but glad it went our way

Dont think anyone could dispute the red card seeing it on vid but how it was done is the issue

Ref had a clear view of the incident and gave out a yellow to Murray and QP player for lifting his hands only to be called over by the assistant. After a discussion ref dished out a red.

As for the penalty, yes theatrical fall but still contact. If that happened outside the box its a free kick

I really don’t understand the challenge from Murray, he better appreciate that his teammates dug him out a huge hole, we also now have him missing for what? 2 games? Which we could do without considering our injury list.

I’m not convinced by the penalty either as struggling to see any contact, what you can say for sure is the defenders’ attempt at tackle, lazily dangling a leg in the air is awful!

Think McGill’s ball in for Hamilton needs a mention, pinpoint accurate as it needed to be.

Great result, great resilience to battle back

Regards the penalty, I didn't see it as particularly theatrical. It doesn't take much of a "tap" tackle to send you flying when you are in full flight. Have personally experienced it in football and rugby. Anyway the ref was very close by and didn't hesitate to award it and neither was there much in the way of protest from Queens players. Just accept it and move on (not often we get the rub of the green!

Yellow jersey and blue shorts. Sporting a beard. Imperious in the midfield. Can only be one man.... the late Brazilian captain Socrates?

I disagree. Murray was not shown a yellow in any way that I saw. The yellow was out and issued to the QP player, and the referee still had the yellow in his hand as he shepherded Murray away from the other players. However, the referee never showed the yellow before going to talk to the lino and coming back with his hand in his back pocket for the red.
