There is no knocking this team down. 10 men and 2-1 down in the 88h minute yet we turn it around. Incredible. _________________ Two pints prick |

Just back from the game.
2-1 down with 3minutes left with only 9 outfield players......am about to suggest to my other half that we should leave......then....great cross, even greater header and methinks we will stay.
Best decision Iβve made in a while.
But boy, did they make hard work of it.
Not our best display by any means. Sideways passes, little incision, and far too obvious passes.
The sending off was because the linesman called the ref over after a foul
and said something in his ear which resulted in a straight red.
Interesting to see what IM says about it.
All said and done, the result was brilliant. _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

I'm just back to Edinburgh from the game and Cuparman has summed everything up succinctly.
We had a wee spell in the first half and grabbed a goal. Queen's by far the better team. Closed us down quickly and used the full width of the park with wide men causing problems all round. We were too narrow at times but got away with it thanks to last man tackles, Kev bringing off some major saves and QP being less than clinical in finishing.
The sending off was strange as the ref gave both players yellow then the linesman decided to get involved and called over the ref. Result red card.
We deserved to be 2-1 down and it was going to be difficult with not a lot of time left and down to ten men as well.
Step up to the plate Ian Murray. Well done the manager for changing it around with the subs. His decision to put on forwards and play four up top paid off big time. Jamie Gullan stayed wide and ran constantly at the full back putting him under pressure for the first time in the game. Our goals came off that side of the park with the corner and the penalty. Definitely a penalty but we got lucky at the very end when a QP player was blatantly pushed in the box. How the linesman who sought fit to bring over the ref for the sending off never saw the incident will remain forever a mystery π
Just one other thing. Emotions can run high when late goals turn things around but these stupid pitch invasions will cost us. It could have today as that's where a lot of the extra time came from and we survived a very late penalty claim. The players also should not go running in towards the fans as this makes it worse. Run and celebrate in the technical area with your colleagues.
Very obvious from today's result is how much a cohesive unit of players this group is. Brilliant to see.
Enjoy your weekend folks.ππ _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Oh c,mon embow
2-1 down,a man down and looking down the grubber only for the boys to pull it back to 2-2 then get the 3 rd from a pen in 90+ minutes and fans, players emotions run high.If I was fitter and younger I,d probably have joined them

Fair enough point but unfortunately the authorities such as referees reports will mention incidents like those and it could be to the detriment of the club most likely financially. I hope it doesn't come to that but you never can tell with the SFA/SPFL.
I have no first hand evidence but apparently, rumour has it on the other channel, that the behaviour of some of these 'enthusiastic fans" wasn't too desirable towards parties of primary school kids that QP had given free tickets to in trying to encourage them to support the club and try to keep them away from the usual OF glory hunting. _________________ Talk on! Is their any evidence of clubs being hit financially for over exuberance from their fans or players?
Pretty sure strict liability does not apply to clubs
Much like pyros, there has been no clubs in Scotland hit financially by the SFA,SPFL
The only organistion that throw out fines for the likes of Pyros is UEFA in their competition and those fines are loose change to the clubs involved _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

Listened in on Sportsound. Chick Young mentioned what he thought looked like a punch from Murray to the Queens player. He reckoned the ref just saw an altercation and gave the yellows, but the linesman maybe saw more. I don't know if that's right or not, but in the post-match, IM states it was definately a red. Thankfully, it never cost us the game after all!
I was away from the radio from 70m, so a real surprise to see the final score! Incredible for ten men, losing by a goal. Winning mentality from a team who really believe they can win and that they will win!
Inverness are on fire now. They might not make the play offs, but they are winning games, while the Arbroath bubble seems to have burst.
Could IM engineer a win away to the Pars, a win away to Inverness and even take something at Tannadice? I see we go to Gayfield on the Wednesday and Tannadice on the Saturday! |

If Iβm counting yellows and reading the regs correctly, thatβs Murray out for at least Accies and ICT and Millen also out for ICT. |

From My lofty position in the Craws Nest I only saw what I thought was a lunging tackle.
We'll find out shortly if there was more to it. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |
