Get the feeling that this will be a hard slog to get anything from this.
Airdrie will be in our faces from the off with its high press game. An early goal for the Rovers should help settle things down.
On the other hand a straight forward home win will do very nicely.🙂

You know despite our tremendous start to the season (I can't comment on Ayr or Morton away games) I can't say I've been supremely impressed by the performances. Had any of the games I've seen (except the cup games) ended in a draw , including our defeat by Airdrie, I couldn't honestly say that it wouldn't have been a fair result. Football is so often a game of fine margins and right now we are coming out more often on the right side of that line but I do worry a little that can't always going to be the case.
Stating the obvious here as a Rovers fans but I would really love to see a solid victory on the scoreline combined with a display that a neutral wouldn't have any doubt as to who was the better team. That said I'll still be happy at full time if it's a scrappy one niller in our favour and we haven't picked up any injuries. Last home game for five weeks so hopefully the crowd turn up once more in decent numbers.

I wont let you down Wellyboot

Lets hope we get playing passing attacking football from the off and we don't let up.
Aiden Connolly to shine again.

Instead of looking forward with confidence to seeing off Airdrie today, my thoughts are all about who will be available, because of injuries.
Niall on Raith TV quizzed IM about the injuries meeting which IM was about to attend.
I'm not expecting any additions to the bench, sadly, and the starting eleven from the Morton match may be asked to go again, with a subsequent cameo from Dylan Easton.
Interesting, but not surprising , that " the" cause of the number of injuries is being revisited. Is there one cause ? Intensity of training? Signing players with a history of past injuries? Asking players who are carrying an injury to play? Could be a mixture of all those and other causes. Bad luck, though, seems to be wearing a bit thin after the last few seasons!
Today I'll take another narrow victory. 2-1 simply because Airdrie 's Calum Gallagher has impressed me every time I've seen him and wouldn't be surprised if he scored again today.

Defence will have to concentrate for 90 mins today, we certainly dont want to be a mirror image of last nights game Embarassed , I'll take a scabby 1-0 win, just hope they get to the bottom of all these injuries and theres a quick recovery for those that are out

Seems that we are on the back foot big time with Kev keeping us in the game along with the woodwork twice over. Doing what he's paid for I suppose.

Once again our midfield is being overrun by Airdrie, change it up a bit, Murray!

BBC stats for first half.. Airdrie 62% possession!
10 shots with 5 on target. Yet we are somehow 1-0 up! Funny old game, indeed.🥺
ETA Possible upset at Tannadice?

Can't say that it's not been coming.☹️
Our inability to mark the opposition is dire at times.
