First half we were toothless going forward and it was a generally insipid display from all quarters apart from Big Kev. After the break we came more into it and managed to even out the imbalances in midfield that saw as pinned back in the first forty five though it didn't actually help us put any meaningful attacks together. Struggling to remember the Pars goalie having to make a save but I can think of several top saves that our keeper had to make including an excellent double stop not long from the end of the match. Overall a poor performance for us today....but when you bang in a last minute winner none of what I have just written matters a jot! Tremendous.

Same as I saw it.

Poor, very poor in opening 45mins, a better team would have punished us.

After the double chance for them early in 2nd (poor finishing and good goalkeeping) both teams basically cancelled each other out and it looked to be heading for a guaranteed stalemate.

We just didn’t look on it today, missing players played a big part, lacked pace, lacked cohesion, everything pretty predictable…couldn’t make the ball stick at the top end of park…

Cracking finish though, tremendous scenes. I was under the impression that Easton was subbed just to waste a few seconds and get a defender on to defend corner at death, he didn’t look at all hurt.

That was definitely the reason. And we reckoned Easton's yellow card qwas for further delaying the substitution by hiding behind big Kev in goals and pretending to not know he was being subbed.

The reaction from the wee No.5 for Dunfermline, who went absolutely ape, was priceless (although he should have been yellow carded too)

“Every time we play Dunfermline they think they’ve had the better of us, but we tend to find a win to beat them.”
The last part of the Ian Murray post match Dundee Courier report.👍😂😂

We were dreadful, mostly throughout the game, we had players that didn't seem to be terribly interested. Again, a manager who doesn't have a game plan.

We cannot do the basic simple stuff.

BUT we won and three points in the bag.

But that isn't the whole story.

Well ensconced in second place at the moment.
Just imagine where we'd be if the manager had a game plan and the players could do the basic simple stuff and keep going right to the end.🤔
Aye! Indeed!🙄

Reading Tam's post, I just about "spurtled" into my dram poured for an evening of warm glow over the Rover's result and settling in for the egg ba' final.
PS Enjoyed the train photo on the other channel.👍😃

The most entertaining moment of the first half was LV pirouetting on top of the ball.
Roll on to the third minute of injury time and a cracking goal by Sam Stanton.
Not much which was memorable otherwise, but we won ,while playing poorly.
I'm a happy man.

A dreadful performance, but i couldn't care less as winning is far more important.

I felt the formation was all wrong. I was expecting McGill at LB with Dick at CH with Murray which would allow Broony into midfield as we were struggling in that area the whole match. Also, we need our attacking players to get fit to give us more of a goal threat, a fit Gullan and Hamilton can only benefit Easton and Connolly.

Imagine being well in the chase for top spot.

Imagine after only 1/4 of the season being gifted 6 points from our Kingdom rivals.

Imagine it's 6 hours after the game has finished and I'm still stotting about like Flubber.
