Hoping for three points but with McDonald in goals for them it won’t be easy to score. Ross has probably earned a starting role after his cameo performance.

Ethan Ross has been out so long ( and has a poor injury track record ) I'm not sure IM will start him on Saturday. May have more use as an impact player against a tiring defence , as versus Partick. Don't want a Ross Matthews situation, either, where he plays too much too soon and is out for ( yet ) another spell! Rolling Eyes

Start Ross, keep Vaughan as a sub, that will give Lewis time to reflect why he keeps picking up cards for dissent.

Barring fresh injuries it looks like a MASSIVE playing pool of 19 for Saturday. (Perhaps 20 if Gullan is over his injury)

Dabrowsi, Thomson,
Watson, Dick, Murray, Millen. Masson,
McGill, Brown, Byrne, Stanton,
Ross, Easton, Mullin, Arnott, Smith
Hamilton, Vaughan, Mitchell.

11 Starters with 9 subs, though what that 11 will be, all hinges on the fitness and readiness or Byrne, Brown and Millen.

I don't think IM is big on change, therefore I wont be too shocked if the 11 that started at Firhill start against 'Ton.

Either way this could be the strongest pool of players Murray has assembled for any game so far in his tenure.
One of the outstanding things of note for me is that out with the 2 keepers, Hamilton, Watson and to a point Murray all of the rest of that squad can operate in 2 or more positions, lot's of scope for change for not only personnel but formation.

Per the Courier: Matthews, Corr, Connolly and Gullan are certainly out, Jamie returning to practice next week. Millen is most likely, with Brown less likely and Byrne is fitness limited. I make it 6 on the bench.

100% Hamilton for the first goal.
2 up and cruising, but Dabrowski has to do better at the goal.
If a bigger bunch of thugs than Morton have ever graced a football pitch, I'm glad I've never had the misfortune to watch them.
I wouldn't normally wish serious injury on a player, but I'll make an exception for Quitongo, who injured himself in the process of committing a shocking assault on Liam Dick.
Only concern is Hamilton on a yellow - just waiting on Broadfoot squealing and going down holding his face in the second half to get him sent off.
