Due to rotational shiftwork that will work out at about £26 per game for the 12 or so League game I will be able to get to.

Sounds like an advert for a 9 game season ticket package. Offer coupons for 2 A and 7 B games, not assured seats, but admission. Set it so you can go online like buying a ticket and get your seat assigned before you walk up and show the code on your phone or it’s loaded onto your card by the server…

…charge £160 or £165 for it…not quite half a full ST, but still a nice discount from walk up costs. Yes, it complicates things, but it’s also a great way to let people step up to attending.

Prior to 2015/16 season Aberdeen FC had an offshore workers/Emergency services workers season ticket. This allowed the purchaser to reserve his seat hand have paid access to it for 10 games. This ticket was withdrawn for 2016/17 and replaced by a six game multi ticket deal.

I had a meeting with the then CEO K McCartney a couple of years ago (and a similar one with John Sim) where I explained this idea to her, she said she'd look into it..... then didn't......then denied saying she would.

I'd happily subscribe to a 6 game ticket twice a season and any other games that I found I could make I would pay at the gate.
In this modern digital world, especially one of non paper season tickets with QR codes it really shouldn'y be too difficult to buy a basic season ticket then upload extra games to it on-line.

Coffee shops simply offer a card to be stamped every time you buy a coffee so it doesn't even need to be anything fancy. All it needs is the marketing people and the tech people at Rovers to come up with a workable idea. I would also be interested in a multi game package rather than a full season ticket as I can't always get to every game on a Saturday.

Waited patiently for 10am and the news on the official website.
Tried to purchase my season ticket this morning, what a CRAP way to do it!

Finally after signing up, muddled around and looked into the Schedule (on the bottom line of the app), put my season ticket details in and whallah.... still crap, it wants me to pay the full amount. Couldn't see how as a Renewal I can get the cheaper price????

I might just pay at the gate or whatever way there is next season to get into a game.

I also found it quite complicated, as I am away from home I didn't have passwords (never knew I was previously enrolled) gave up & phoned the office, after 2 or 3 attempts got through and it was quite painless from then on

The catch is the difficulty in assuring a seat, I’m sure. There could be situations where there were insufficient seats for tickets sold toward the beginning or end of a season, which is where some rules would need to be designed and registering for a seat in advance would be necessary. It wouldn’t be a problem initially, but might become one with success.

Dont think for one minute your trying to start an arguement

Any disabled supporter over 21 but under 65 will be required to pay £315

Yes the free carer policy is good but not every disabled person has or requires a carer but suppose we can do what others do and claim the need for a carer but not in my DNA

Its now a few seasons since the club implemented the age related disabled season and that was when I stopped buying one after 25+ years of having a season ticket but previous to that think it was £180/£190

Ps

From the other channel

When I looked earlier a disabled season was listed as £224 which has now been amended to “priced as age related” so for the likes of me it would be £315

I noticed this as well. Disabled fans used to get a 50% discount. I noticed the £224 price and was trying to buy through the app.
The option is not available.
Seems the "belong" message doesn't apply to disabled fans. New board, same short-sighted prejudices.

Inclusive my *bleep*.

Exactly this graeme

No explanation why intially it was available only to amend it a few hours later to age related

Maybe the new fanbase platform or whatever its called is having teething problems.Wishful thinking ?

Will be getting mine early in the week (1st one since Grant Murray managerial days) along with one for each of my two kids…

Quick question…. If I choose to pay it up, does it cost more or am I as well paying it in one go?

We accept most forms of payment. Fans also have the option of paying by direct debit and spreading the cost over 4 months. Please contact the office directly if you would like to pay in this way. There will be a £10 administration fee on the overall transaction.

Also

Season Ticket Cards

We are moving to a new ticket provider partner this year. There is no longer a need for a physical season ticket card, with a digital card being offered to store in your phone’s wallet. This can be scanned at the turnstiles from your phone’s screen.

A physical card can be ordered during the checkout, with these costing £5. These will be posted out at the start of July.

Reach out to the Fan Rep, who will be on the Management Board. Or, contract the Club Offices and ask for the contract for the Chairman, he encouraged contact in his interview, or Barrowman.
