Given the Boo ha ha over The club's Twitter tweet on the subject of Liam Dick signing on for another 12 months I thought I'd test the water a bit.

So a simple wee social experiment just to see what way the wind's blowing in general.

It may be that you simply find the Tweet in poor taste, that being the case feel free to add an additional comment.

I think that as a one off, it’s a mildly (potty) humourous tweet, a platform seemingly built for that purpose. As an aside, adding a release on organizing a new woman’s team, or having the old team rejoin, would be a nice countpoint. As long as this isn’t a trend, I see little harm.

Of course I am not offended.

It gave our club half a million views and the vast majority would have had a chuckle. That is half a million people talking about Raith Rovers who most definitely would not have been otherwise.

Top, Top, marks to our new team for thinking of this unique and humorous way to "expose" the Rovers' Brand

Like most things in life today: People need to grow thicker skin, smile more, and look for humour instead of looking for offence!

What a humourless dreary lot we are quickly becoming. (Old man rant)

SPOT ON.
The demise of common sense is becoming entrenched.

Fortunately for me, I am towards the end as opposed to the beginning of my life and so hope not to see the first woke prime minister. Rolling Eyes

As is the case with many things, the pendulum swings from 1 extreme to the other. Crying or Very sad

Although, they missed an opportunity to also use Boaby Extension for Robbie Thomson Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Offended, no way. Actually a colleague from work Teams called me today to tell me how many views it had had on Twitter, and he's a Liverpool fan.

In a day when people go into a tailspin if you accidently use the 'wrong' pronouns for them, this is a refreshing change, and just a bit of fun.

I see no problem it game me a laugh. The club is trying to appeal to younger supporters and that childish humour wether gen z like it or not is what appeals to young folk and its the most viral tweet the raith have had in years having been shared thousands of times and viewed hundreds of thousands of times its brought attention to the club and gave us a chuckle I'd say it was tactically job well done

My name is Willie and I have been the cause of offence and the butt of jokes all my puff. I have been all types of Willie. Have I been offended - never - and never changed my name - well I did from Wullie to Willie.
Used to work with Richard Long and Richard Dick - they both had an interesting time especially during introductions 🤓🤓

Just had a look. Now sitting at 9.5 million views, just shy of 2000 comments, over 10,000 retweets and nearly 50,000 likes. That's an insane number for any Twitter channel let alone a Scottish Championship football team. Fair play to Mr Kilgour, an asbolute masterclass on how to use Social Media and lets not forget this won't have been some caption that wasn't first of all thought out ahead of time. As he said on his own personal Twitter page "people are now talking about Raith Rovers". The man clearly knows what he's doing.
