You might have seen the article on the front page of the site at the weekend - http://www.raithroversfc.com/cgi-bin/latestnews.cgi?id=2865:
Quote: | Raith Trust are looking to boost their support for the Rovers Youth Development Initiative by organising a sponsored walk to the final Fife Derby of the season at New Bayview on Saturday 7th March.
New BayviewParticipants will be setting off from Starks Park on the morning of the match, and following the trek along the Fife Coastal Path route, will arrive in Methil in plenty of time for a wee breather before joining the rest of the visiting support as they look to cheer Rovers to a repeat of the result of the last visit to East Fife back in November when Rovers collected all three points with a 2-0 victory.
Organisers are looking for as many fans as possible to join them in what should be a fun event as The Trust continue their ongoing efforts to support the youth set up at Stark’s Park, and anyone interested in taking part is asked to get in touch with the Trust via their website www.raithtrust.org.uk or at the Trust Table in the South Stand at the next home game.
For those not able to take part, group sponsorship forms will also be available to increase the funds raised even further. |
The more people who join the walk, the more money this event will raise. And the more money this raises, the bigger the cheque we can hand over to the football club to help finance the Youth Development Initiative!
If you would like to join the walk, please download a sponsor form here: http://www.raithtrust.org.uk/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/sponsor_form.pdf
If you would like to sponsor the walkers, I've set up a donation link here: http://www.raithtrust.org.uk/?page_id=430 _________________ Follow the Trust on facebook and twitter |

Excellent image guys on the front page of the Rovers Trusts website, well done Alan.
Have a look at www.raithtrust.org.uk/
And perhaps get sponsoring a walker or take part, you know it makes sense. Long live the Rovers Academy. |

Left Starks Park at 10am, got into the pub in Lower Methil in time to catch the last 20 minutes of the St Mirren v Celtic match, so whatever time that was. |

We did a good first hour. We reached the Frances Colliery memorial by 11 o'clock. |
