All of the earth to the left of the steps in this picture has been removed, right down to pavement level. Anyone know why?

I can't say I noticed today. So the earth and those shrubs are now gone and it's just a straight drop down from the throughway above? _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

No idea why but I'll hazard a guess that with heavy rain over a short period of time, then the slope will be threatened with landslips, or, at the very least, with soil creep, despite the vegetation root system acting as an anchor. It looks to be too open for the root system to have much affect in holding the soil in position.
Probably clearing the ground for some sort of retaining wall?
Just my thoughts. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Is this going to be the "Ross County method" to future physical in person match ticket sales as an option to buying online?🤔 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Aye Vinnie, I'm aware that's the current arrangement but was only making a suggestion that they were maybe going to relocate the ticket office/sales down to street level.
It'll be what it'll be in due course. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Seems it's to be an outlet for match day ticket sales a la Ross Co model (as Marshall pointed out). While I cant fault the club for wanting to utilise space to the maximum, I do think they could have at least contacted Brian Forsyth and explained it. In case you are wondering Brian and his partner Etta were instrumental in changing the scabby earth bank into a decent shrubbery spending not only many hours gardening but actually buying the plants to make it look better.
Great dialogue as usual with the support.

In case you didn't know there were a few supporters had there ashes place there and I know of one family member who is extremely upset that this has happened. The ashes were placed there with the clubs permission. A sorry state of affairs by the club yet again. I wonder who was responsible for this to be given the go-ahead? Silence will probably be the answer. |

Remember when the club claimed they were a "community club". |
