I remember with great happiness when we stuffed them twice at dens, once in the league and once in the cup, sure it was on our great run to be champions once again. However, I feel in my water that Fife’s finest will prevail by a score of Dundee 0 Rovers 2.

They can pay for their own new stadium.

The cost of entry given the standard of entertainment in the Championship is certainly on the steep side for the average fan however can we give it a rest slating Dundee every time we are due to visit Dens? They have been the costliest place to visit every time we have been in the same division as them for decades. Banging on about it has never altered the fact and won’t in the future…

If the extra couple of quid makes a huge difference…don’t go. If the principle is so important to you…don’t go.

It’s £22 for places like Cappielow, Inverness, Gayfield…

What’s it going to be like if we achieve the target of promotion?! Sides like Ross County for example currently charge £28 a ticket, with current inflation, this might be considered ‘cheap’ by next season!…the prices then go up a fair bit when you visit Edinburgh/Glasgow…

Apparently, according to the other channel, Dundee now operating a pay at the gate option for the game.
Common sense prevails at the eleventh hour as they realise that the current arrangement is a financial loser.🤔

Is that just the for home gate or the away section too? I take it the £24 price still applies - across the board.

Ah! Never thought about that!🥺
No idea to be honest if it's for both sets of fans or not.
Still £24 by looks of things.

ETA It's for both sets of fans. It's now on Rovers Twitter account mentioning "after discussions this morning".😊

The last time I was at Dens was about January 1994. I can't remember who scored the first Rovers goal, but Dundee went 2-1 up. There was a bit if an altercation between Sean Dennis and Ronnie Coyle over a mix-up, over a near Dundee goal. I think it was Ian Redford's first game for the Rovers (I could be wrong). He hit the crossbar a few times, before Gordon Dalziel banged in the equaliser at about 70 mins. It finished 2- 2.
