Another convincing win and a good performance. Ian Murray's plan IS working, the team IS beginning to gel, there IS (finally) healthy competition - but - look back at results. Things have certainly not got any worse since Mickey's arrival! Wink

Very pleasing. Not as comprehensive as last week as we failed to score a second goal while we dominated them for a period after scoring the first. I never felt like we weren't going to win today even after Accies levelled through a fine piece of play from their forward. Can't be a better player in this league than Connolly at this moment in time. He's the heart of all our promising attacks.
At the back Brown and Spencer are giving such good cover to our defence, closing out space and shutting down attacks all over the place.
I must admit we aren't where I thought we would be only a month ago but it's good to be able to look at the top of the league and have thoughts about the possibilities come April. Well done to the players and Ian Murray for making that happen.

Now 3rd in the league Castle - 3 points off top-spot - that's before all the injured players are even back! Wink

Thoroughly deserved the 3pts and tough to find many negatives.

After watching highlights, rub of the green with the two 2nd half goals, extremely soft penalty and 3rd looks a yard offside.

Another great hard working team performance from a team looking like it’s going places. We fully deserved the win and played some great football. Top marks to Ross Millen and Liam Dick who have really come on leaps and bounds and are consistently playing well. Aiden Connolly is just superb, his work rate and willingness to be involved all over the park is a joy to behold.
However the whole team is performing well and Ian Murray deserves great credit for the brand of football team is currently playing.

If we can keep this determined effort up, who knows?

It’s a good time to be a Raith supporter. Keep it up lads!

My only concern is when Ngwenya and O'Riorden disappear in January and to an extent Connell, how do we replace them in what is becoming a settled side. Certainly the first two are playing well enough that their parent clubs may want them back to have a look at them and may be reticent to extend their loans if they believe they might be more use back home now.

Ngwenya’s deal was announced by the Dons as the full year with a review in January…by us as till January. That suggests we should be able to keep him for the season, I can’t see him cracking their first team if he goes back now, and is getting great playing time/experience.

Crewe, on the other hand, are struggling…he played some first team matches for them last year a league up…not sure we’ll be able to have them extend it, especially with Lang’s return coming up in their thoughts too.

I remember when posters here and on the other channel complained that IM had failed to get Aberdeen's third choice left back on loan and instead had their fourth choice. The alleged third choice then went on loan at Elgin City as competition for Greig Young. They also said that we'd have been better keeping GY at
SP. In fact, Ngwenya has been very good as soon as he got a run in the team. I'm very confident that he will be with us until the end of the season, but not so confident that will be the case with Connor O'Riordan.
Incidentally, I was intrigued by the choices of favourite players named by the Mascots at the Partick game.
The first named Lewis Vaughan. That was very common pre-Pandemic but this tot seemed hardly old enough to have seen LV play!
The second named Greig Young, again not one of the expected names.

A strong performance by all accounts, Rovers looking better by the week as the squad's depth comes back into play.

Since Greenock we've really started to show that "WE WILL NOT BE OUTFOUGHT" attitude that IM promised would be a hallmark of his team.

As stated, it's a good time to be a Rovers fan, long may it continue.
