Aye, unfortunately it’s one of those “ good news, bad news” scenarios
Getting a humbling but also dropping our co-efficient . _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

If you can't laugh at them getting emptied without worrying about a coefficient, which has absolutely zero relevance to Raith Rovers, then you're in the wrong movie. _________________ Dougie Hill

And they feel embarrassed by failings of the National Team!
No doubt they'll be spitting blood about Scottish football, the lack of competition and how they should be playing in England - where they would be lucky to stay up and even to get back into Europe at all!
Ah well - at least Liverpool are trying to compete with Rangers - as Chumps! |

What happens to the bigot brothers has a knock on effect for Scottish football.
I never mentioned RRFC.
Which is relevant to Scotland teams in Europe as it effects our standing in the eyes of other football countries.
It would appear I am a little more open minded about the larger picture rather than taking your own narrow minded bigoted stance. _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

Perhaps is the bigot brothers crashed out as early as possible for several years, the reduction in cash flow might let someone compete? Much as a lower coefficient would pump in less money too…hurts a bit, but perhaps helps in the long run. |

I frankly couldn't give a toss what anyone from outside Scotland thinks of Scottish football.
It's absolutely rank rotten due to our league format being dictated by a TV company who insist on having four games between two clubs who would leave Scottish football tomorrow given the chance.
Apparently Mark Hateley said earlier tonight that Ajax away would be Rangers'easiest game in the group.
Let's hope he's right. _________________ Dougie Hill

The way UEFA has structured failure to drop down a competition I predict that Rangers and Celtic will contest the Watney's Cup final. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

Had a wee conflab with one Wolfman Jack earlier this evening and we were discussing the last time a team, other than the Huns, took three penalties in one game at Ibrox.
I had a wild guess at 27 11 1994. _________________ Dougie Hill

Pretty *bleep* guess cause I know QoS put Sevco out of diddy cup at Ibrox a few years ago on pens. |

Did Hibs not beat the now defunct Rangers at Ibrox in one of the cups on pens sometime during the early 2000's? |

Thanks for the replies, however, this was the original question.

So we aren't including penalty shoot outs?
Of course only two penalties were awarded last night. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |
