According to today's weather forecast it's to be an East wind on Saturday don't know if that helps as t would be blowing across the pitch. Anyway at this moment in time I would settle for a draw or a scabby last minute winner.
Going up on the two pound return to and from Kirkcaldy. |

Isn’t it always windy at Gayfield even on a calm day? |

Easton has a knock and game might come too early for Gullan but might make the bench _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

Injury list mounting up a wee bit in the short-term then, with maybe no injured players fully returning on Saturday, let alone little prospect of new faces in time for this game. Dick Campbell will fancy his chances. |

Game won't go ahead imo. And probably neither will the Ayr game. |

Seen something about all sporting events in the UK being cancelled during the period of mourning. Or at least that was the plan. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

What benefit to anyone does cancelling football matches or any other sport for that matter do?!
I’m actually serious, can someone tell me? |

Well, it will give injured players a little more recovery.
Something our team would certainly need/want because of the amount we have out atm.
It is also not unprecedented.
I remember waiting to ( hopefully) see Liverpool lose a league match on SKY TV when princess Diana passed, ah wiz peeved about that getting cancelled.
However, in the circumstances regarding the Queens passing.....I ain’t gonna complain. .
No doubt there will be many that disagree. _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

Get prepared for a lot more of this sycophantic slush over the next two weeks.
Flags at half mast (which is in fact only usually a third down) for a fortnight. The Tour of Britain cycle race cancelled last night with three stages to go. Lot of money lost for businesses in the areas to have been featured. Would the late monarch have wanted loss of business for her subjects on her death?
Don't know what is happening a week from now but I just heard that the hotel across the road from me got a cancellation from a football club for the evening of the 16th. Most likely from a club on its way to play Wick Academy the next day. Looking at the fixture list it could well be Lochee United in the first round of the Scottish Cup. So does that mean no fixtures next week as well as this one? A decent size booking now lost to a business trying to get back on to a more level keel after all the ups and downs of recent times. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!
