The monarch may maintain a veneer of neutrality on political matters but the position of head of state is very much a political one. |
Theres a few disrespectful comments about the Queen on rovers twitter feed, i thought rovers fans were better than that _________________ Don`t stop believin |

Is there time to reorganise the Arbroath game for midweek, this week or, more likely, next?
I read Neil's thoughts on postponement giving some of our players time to recover.
The other side of the coin is catching Arbroath when they are not only down but weakened.
If the Red Lichties next match is against us, then they will be without the considerable presence
of Tam O'Brien and Scott Allan will also probably be suspended. (I am factoring in that the Ayr game is almost certain
to be postponed next Saturday )
Add in that Michael McKenna may not be fit to play and DIck will also not have the newly departed
Nicky Low as an option.
I appreciate that the more world weary will respond by saying that The Rovers always trip up when
facing a team seemingly on their uppers! |

Critical game so early on in the season. Today would have been a lovely day for football - September sun - nothing like it!! What a fine country Scotland is - appreciate it all the more for having lived in mid west of USA for 20 odd years. Arbroath is a particularly attractive with its red sand stone buildings and that beautiful beach. Hopefully next game is midweek and a sunny day so that I can enjoy all Arbroath has to offer. Fish, sands and sun - but of course will probably be wet and windy 🤓 _________________ Here Wee go again |

Makes me wonder what the next Celtic game will be like if they try a minutes silence?!
On a personal note, I have no time for the Royal Family for many reasons, not a huge fan of the Queen when she was alive either. I’m still able to respect the fact she meant lots to many people and obviously her family. |

I'm inclined to think that there will be games next weekend. The European matches featuring UK clubs are going ahead I believe so the precedent will have been set. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

SPFL has indicated games will occur next weekend, can’t find the link right now. Also, the first statement covering the cancellation this weekend specifically only said “this weekend”. |

Yep it would seem fixtures will go ahead next weekend and rightly so.English games going ahead next weekend so highly unlikely the tail of the dog wont
See the Rangers v Napoli game due to be played on Tuesday has been put back 24 hrs to Wednesday with lack of police resources cited as the reason
No Napoli fans will be allowed to attend rearranged fixture and no Rangers fans will be allowed to attend the return game
So its a stuff you to supporters of both clubs who have organised time off work, already purchased tickets, booked flights and hotels etc _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

Anyone who has received a refund on their match ticket for Saturday, did you get the refund automatically or did you need to contact Arbroath and ask for it. |

I contacted Arbroath by e-mail and have received my money back. It takes a few days for it to reach your account but they are very good and I didn't have any problems. |
