From the other channel the rumoured signing awaiting clearance is a 6ft 8 Faroese internationalist who played in the Austrian 2nd division

After last week's misreporting about McBride being a giant, assume the target is probably 5 foot 11 and a quarter - and fae the Fair Isle! Wink

Incidentally, for what its worth, the present World rankings of The Faroes and Frankie Musonda's Zambia are 125th and 88th, respectively. Make of that what you will.

Also from the other channel it was posted some examples of clubs issues getting work permits/clearance for overseas players and in some situations clubs waiting over 2 months before their player was eligable to play.

Too bad we missed Matteo Vitaioli on a free transfer, eh? I mean San Marino are #211, but he’s actually scored internationally vs Lithuania…

Assuming the rumours are true....

From the SKU website
"After just one year, striker John Frederiksen is also leaving Amstetten and leaving the club. The man from the far north played 31 competitive games last season and scored seven goals. His goals in the autumn even earned him a call-up for the Faroe Islands national team. The assault tank was also used in the World Cup qualifiers against Denmark, Austria and Scotland. A priceless experience, also for us as a club.

We thank John Frederiksen for his commitment in the SKU jersey, his goals and the touch of international football at the Ertl Glas Stadion.
All the best for your further career path as well as many goals and international appearances. Farvæl John
!"

Great nickname BTW
SKU are top of their league just now

LAst 3 clubs second tier in Denmark, Finland and Austria. Therefore probably a bit better than the 2nd tier Scotland!

6ft8 is a big lad. Target man. However, a target man needs a poacher next to him.

Who may that be?? Neutral
