Just in myself, can’t add much more to what’s been said. We were 2nd best for vast majority yet with hitting the post then Ross putting his wide, felt disappointed not to snatch a point which we barely deserved being honest.

We need additions, not squad fillers but 1st team starters if we are to threaten at the top end of table, we can’t plod along in the hope the 4 guy out get back on time…reach fitness quickly….stay fit with no reoccurrences.

Felt like we had about three chances to clear their opener, going behind early once more isn’t a great habit to be getting in to!

Agree with NR, the Thistle goal ruled out looked onside from where I was sitting

Cant expect to go to Firhill with no recognised striker and get a result. Absolutely toothless up front not only in getting shots off but in holding the ball and allowing us to advance up the park.

Strange outcome. I felt we could have sneaked the draw and yet Thistle should have been out of sight. I thought their disallowed goal looked well onside and they had a strong penalty shout second half.

The miss by Ross with 5 minutes to go was a howler.

I feel we are getting better and will get better again with Matthews and Spencer back but unless/ until Murray resolves the striker situation we are going to struggle. Gullan isn't the answer.

Agree with pretty much all of this.

My only point would be Gullan works his socks off chasing down everything including harrowing defenders. The result of all this often goes unnoticed and is bound to affect his sharpness purely because of the amount of energy he is expending.

He is very often alone doing this job and I fear it must affect his sharpness .

Always a thankless task.
Might be an idea to play him for 65-70 mins and get someone else doing the donkey work. But who? Confused

5 games in to a 36 game league, new manager, new team with important players to return and only 2 points off a play off spot so not overly concerned

I'm not overly concerned yet either but we are closer to the bottom and than we are at the top. It's been very much an inconsistent start but that's the same for almost every club except Ayr. Looks like it will be a tight league and so we might spend the campaign never far away from the play off positions. At either end of the table.

i am not worried as things stand, i like the way IM has the team set up and the style of play he is trying to encourage.

i would obviously like to see the addition of a (goal scoring) striker and a more experienced centre half but overall i think we have to accept we are in transition with a youngish side and consequently the performances will be a little bit erratic at times.

our home form will likely dictate where our campaign is heading. I haven't seen anything yet from the other sides in the division that suggests we are unlikely to be a match for most.
