Ach well!
Not as bad a score as I thought it could be.
But another game in which we have failed to score.
The next few weeks will likely set the scene for what we're going to endure for most of the season.
Here's hoping that it's positive. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Maybe his family didn't move down south with him and still reside in Aberdeen. Up for a visit and taking a game in. |

I honestly thought 2-0 flattered Aberdeen at half time, but 3-0 was probably a fair reflection on the second half.
The reason we're out is our failure to beat two league two sides over 90 minutes rather than losing today. _________________ Dougie Hill

Not the result we wanted but I was encouraged by aspects of that performance. Don't understand the criticism of Zanatta, I thought he applied himself well.
The damage was done in the previous games and some much needed revenue has now been lost while some of our divisional rivals will be boosting their own coffers and subsequently their squads. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

With any luck he will make us an offer for Zanatta & Gullan, currently I'd take a bag of balls for them just to get them off the wage bill _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |

Played well in the first half but a combination of failing to take our chances and a very slow defence cost us.
First goal caused by defence not getting out quick enough and the boy was left on side.
We created and missed quite a few chances before half time which on another day might have gone in ( beginning to wonder when this ‘other’ day is coming).
Second goal as a great finish but we may have had a shout for a foul in the build up.
The third and killer goal just exposed a very slow center back pairing and we were out of it by then.
So looks like we need strikers to take the chances and a defence to keep, them out. I’m surprised no one has noticed that 🤔
Signs are there though if we get these folk in and our injured players back we can do well this season but the clock is ticking! _________________ Davie McGurn gone but never forgotten! |

I left with half an hour to go. Game was over by then. Brown is not a defender. Gullan worked hard with little back up. Thompson could do nothing about any of the goals and actually played well. Mccrorie finish was a beauty. I thought the penalty was dubious as I felt the centre forward was offside prior to the foul. We played well until the second goal and a few positives there. I was watching the warm up and the short passing moves were crisp and precise and gave me some optimism. However, Aberdeen were just that bit quicker and stronger although there two centre halves will struggle against pace I feel. Second half was a washout when the early third goal went in. We need a centre half and support for Gullan. Overall disappointing but glimpses of promise so not overall too downhearted |

Can’t agree. Had little reward out of the Aberdeen defence and the right back (Richardson?) continually made darting forward runs leaving Zanatta a bit lost and unsure. Definitely not a passenger though although the guy sitting nearest me was definitely not a zanatta fan |

The squad contains 1 fit Centre Half and no Centre Forwards, we did about as well as could be expected.
The next few weeks are vital and will make or break our season. Quality players in the areas we need to strengthen are rare for a club with our resources however, so interesting one to see how the manager does this. |

Well it looks like we have lost on a big payday versus Newco. I hope those in charge of the money that the manager was obviously not getting are happy and can look at themselves in the mirror. |
