Home tie to Stirling Albion. After the performance against Peterhead I’m hoping for more of the same. Quick tempo and high press should give us a comfortable home win. |

I'd like more of the same from Wednesday as well, 6 points from two home games sets us up well given the results from the rest of the group with away games to come next week. Hopefully we'll see the same line up and hopefully Arnott back on the bench alongside Zanatta now he's served his suspension.
Great that streaming of the games are allowed for the group stages, but I wonder if the price of £10 is good reason for people to just stay home and watch for cheaper than attending? |

Another hefty win today would be good. Keep our attacking players full of confidence. Last home game for three weeks so would be nice to see a crowd over 1300. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Not a great first half. Stirling pressing high has put a bit of pressure on both our midfield and defence.
Maybe just the way the game is being played, but Dario is having a very quiet game? Very different to young Mitchell last week.
Connolly's goal was really well taken.
The referee is utterly terrible.
COYR for the second half. |

Quite possibly the worst refereeing performance for a long time today. No pass marks for the team today, too slow, unable to pass the ball quickly all game and clueless forward play at times. While Easton is good in spells, he was poor throughout but not aided by poor movement around him. Again the defence weren't really troubled for the majority, a few long balls and a bit of switching off hoping for a foul at the goal aside.
The ref though, a red card that wasn't and a few bookings that should have been alongside some general "I'm the main attraction, look at me" moments, has to be reviewed and reprimanded for that.

A really big wake up call.
We've a long way to go but results like this are better out of the system this early in the season. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Funny how we view things differently.
Whilst it was not as good as Wednesday, this was a far stronger Team we were up against and physically a lot bigger.
I thought we played the first half very much in the same style as we did against Peterhead, we however did not make the most of our chances.
We past and moved well throughout I thought. The difference however was in the failing to convert our opportunities.
We never seamed to have the clinical edge today.
I still thought we played well though. The effort from the players was good to see and the work rate was good.
We had a lot of possession in the first half and the team were always looking to move the ball on......not sideways.
I thought we also had the best of the second half. The binos’s created very little in the way of chances.
Lastly, the Referee was, pretty poor. Many mistakes And I would hazard a guess that the linesmen were briefed to leave “ fouls” up to him alone.
One final point to which I don’t know the answer.......did we choose the end to take penalties and they were given the choice to take first or second shots.
The reason I mention this as most teams nowadays opt to shoot first if they have the choice.
The reason is statistically that 60% of shootouts are won by the team goes first. This was a large talking point prior to the last euros. All to do with going second invites more pressure. Also, the advice to takers was after the Ref blows, that the shooter should take 5 to10 seconds to compose themselves before starting the run up.
Lastly.......the last two matches on Raith tv have been poor picture quality.
Seamed like picture often went out of focus to the point we couldn’t read team sheets/ subs. Also the picture was a fraction “jumpy” as opposed to smooth.
We have same telly as last year......wondering is it something wrong our end or raith tv end?
Anyone else effected? _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

Didn't learn anything today we didn't already know. We are in real need of an actual centre forward.
No need to panic though. |
