A good way to kick off our season. A team that should be able to give us a good competitive game but also a team we should be beating if we have any designs on having a successful season.
There is a financial incentive of several thousand pounds for every place we finish in this little mini league. Finishing second is the minimum that we must achieve.

Tough opposition expected as always with a Jim McInally side.
We should have a full (long term injured aside) squad to pick from apart from the suspended Zanatta. |

Hope we do well, but am gutted to not be watching. Still awaiting the removal of you know who from the team expenses before I’ll buy Raith TV.
Peterhead will be no pushover, but we’re capable. And, despite not watching, I’ll still have all my silly, insane and young player oriented opinions and suggestions! |

Sorry to hear you are refusing to watch the Rovers Tex, and of course this is your right.
I just wonder why, if Raith Rovers FC have upset you so much, you continue to follow the team with so much enthusiasm? Can you not reconsider Tex? It seems to me you are the only person being affected by your protest (Other than the club losing your £200 international TV pass). Everything has been done that can be done regarding the DG debacle. Are you not now simply cutting off your nose to spite your face?

Fair question. I refuse to contribute funds while some portion of those go to “him”. Is it a bit pointless, in that later money contributed will replace earlier money spent, probably…however, I have several associates who have suffered sexual assaults, and cannot stomach the idea of my payment supporting “him”. Not to mention, I couldn’t face them in that case either.
I feel the Club has taken a good start on overcoming the whole mess, and with Raith having a childhood connection, I still support the Club. |
