I reckon that, come the end of July, Raith Rovers will be the only football team in the world to have played three senior professional football matches, in three separate competitions, against three different teams at three different venues, all in the city of Aberdeen. And that includes the Aberdeen clubs themselves. And we'll have done so in the space of just a little over 6 months.
Does that qualify as the single most useless piece of information any of you have ever received? Or will it be a quiz question in the future, to which you all now have the answer? |

That's a cracking wee bit of trivia.
Here's another - when we play Queen's Park at Ochilview in October, I reckon that'll be the fifth different club to have hosted us on that ground in the last 30 years.
Stirling Albion 92/93, Falkirk 03/04, East Stirlingshire 12/13 and, of course, Stenhousemuir. _________________ Dougie Hill

Aberdeen, Banks O'Dee and Cove, all play in Aberdeen itself all with their own venues of Pittodrie, Spain Park and the Balmoral Ground respectively |

Banks of Dee was the one I was forgetting about. Come the end of August Ayr Utd will also be able to boast of 'achieving' that feat as well. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |
