Found his level now, hopefully sign a couple of centre backs with some mobility this season.

Thanks for your service Bene. I think the move will do him good, he needs a change of scenery. I suspect Falkirk were offering him less money.

Not too fussed, even with him going to the wee team.
Was a good defender for us about 3 years ago.

I liked Bene a lot, a leader, inspiring and normally quick to assess the opposition.
I will miss him in our defence.

He sounds thick as pig $hit too

This is a thoroughly disingenuous statement which would be hurtful to a player whose commitment to the club was never in doubt. I think that it is nothing less than a personal insult which should have no place on this forum. I'd like to thank Bene for his service and wish him all the best for the future.

Great servant for many years for which I’m grateful, it’s a good move for all concerned I think, obviously presuming we get someone in who is an upgrade!

Well said, Westover. More than disingenuous, both comments are thoroughly disrespectful towards a player who has been a great servant to our club over the years. People really should stop and think for a moment - maybe that would stop them from posting such drivel.

Bene was always the first to approach fans after a match, hand over the captain's armband to a young supporter, sign autographs, and so on. He was friendly to talk to at club events - and most of all, he was genuinely committed to our club and always gave his all for the jersey.

I'll join the vast majority of fans in wishing him well personally as he enters the next stage of his football career - and ask him not to allow his memories of his years at Raith Rovers to be soured by a small number of abusive comments

I wish him well but he was needing the move as much as we need an upgrade.

Stan drew rovers I was not being abusive towards a player I have utmost admiration for I was just saying he didn't look comfortable doing the interview, but you take it anyway you want I really don't care what you think.

Loyal servant to the club for years! The time was right and a good move for him and for the Pars at this particular time. Good luck Bene!

Signs of the old zicoromaines coming back there 😲

Bene hasn’t been at his best the last couple of seasons and perhaps a step down a division will do him some good. A good servant to us

On the few occasions I have spoken or interacted with Kyle I found him pleasant and very open and have nothing but praise for him.

He could probably start wearing socks with a dress suit though.
