When you consider some of the names that were banded about, Murray is a very solid appointment. |

Top pick would be Paul Hartley from Cove
Second choice Kevin Thomson from Kelty with Scott Brown as assistant |
Both teams with money, and on the up…don’t think we’ll appeal to them. If Airdrie fail to make promotion, Ian Murray might be a good shout…Petrie is a pipe dream, but still. |
Third post, hope I guessed right! |

Only time will tell.
Every managerial appointment, barring a small minority, is but a lucky bag. You really just don't know what you are getting. What works well at some clubs often might not work out at others and, of course, the complete opposite is also very true. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Appears that KT was interested but couldn't agree terms................it was always likely that we RRFC would be financially outgunned by the likes of Dundee or Pars. Note that McPake is about to become the news pars boss _________________ Keeping the Faith (and the Missionary work!) |

If Murray is to be revealed as our new manager - I would prefer him over those two - by the length of the A92! |

Are Embows words not SAGA?
Talked to Mr Murray on Portobello Beach just before they lost to QP. He was wearing his Airdrie tracksuit - didn't know it was him at the time but I was telling him about our trip to Airdrie for the cup final. Only because I am a chatty sort of person. He said that it was a very pleasing result and the Rovers fans were very enthusiastic, also god use of the stadium - financially. He was of course non-committal maybe because he was worried about the upcoming play off game and he and his lady were having a little trouble controlling their wee dugs. If he is to be the next gaffer I for one will be pleased because he likes dugs. Think they were sausage dugs. _________________ Here Wee go again |
