It was my impression that the CEO was part of the "non-footballing" side of the operation. However, given the way this shambles is being run by those in charge, can't really be surprised to see this. I don't think I've ever seen a club put an advert on their main website for a First Team manager before either.

This not looking good right now Guys.

It is early days yet, and maybe, just maybe the Board have a plan. However I "hae ma doots".

Somebody else has questioned the missing technical football acumen and therefore also football contacts amongst the Board members, and this is very worrying indeed. We will therefore end up with with a bunch of Rovers fans, albeit with one eye on the purse, choosing the next Rovers Manager. You can see the mess the rest of us Rovers Fans get into on this subject in this Forum!

We should be listening very carefully to Craig Levein whom at least has an understanding of Scottish football. and has a liking of our club.

It is going to be an interesting and probably frustrating few weeks for all of us fans concerned with the Rovers. Keep plenty strong drink close by at all times. Your'e going to need it

What's all this about a reduced budget?

Why, did not the ex-chairman say just the other week in his Courier interview that the money spent (wasted) on DG is small change and less than what he will be spending (a far larger sum) on the N & S stands.

Surely with such high finance involved the players budget is still significant? Also what goes into the upkeep and improvement of the Stadium is paid for by SP Properties not by the tenant and therefor should not impact the playing budget.

Or
Could it all be just a smokescreen to hide the fact they (he) wanted rid of McGlynn all along?

Anyone who thinks the club is coming out of the woods anytime soon is deluding themselves.

5 years ago the club were exploring potential plans to ground share at Cowdenbeath such was the lack of cohesion between the football club and Mr Sim, seems little if anything has really changed.
Whether it's "I'll build flats on Starks Park" or "I'll have Kirkcaldy YM plain there" it matters not, it seems to me the man cares far more about his legacy in having a community hub at Starks than the football team that without which the stadium would not exist. At this rate we will be lucky to see our 150th anniversary

Being a somewhat superstitious chap it worries me that the application final date for applications is Friday the 13th!
This may not bode well for going forward from here.🥴🥺

I was informed by Mr Sim that KM was employed directly by him (not RRFC). Interestingly though she is listed here* on the meet the directors page on the main site.
Starks Park is a tangled mess of a place these days.

Probably why McGlynn wasn't sacked mid slump, they knew he could go for nothing now

It'll be fine. Enjoy your holidays sir. A bit of time in the sun might be good for everyone, players and fans alike right now.

I don't want Craig Levein anywhere near Starks Park never mind giving advice to the board on who could be the manager.

He is useless!

The most successful Raith Rovers manager of the last 25 years was recommended by Craig Levein to the club.
