.........then I couldn't believe Strathallan Rover's choice for manager and assistant???????? |
If this is the case then why not start the recruitment process earlier ? We will never know the ins and outs of it all I suppose. |

Is it just me or does mcglynn look uncomfortable in the pictures? |
Definitely the saddest expression on the face of a new Manager I have ever seen BP. He looked like he almost didn't want to ... be there? |

More likely he has put on a few pounds since he last wore his suit and it is uncomfortable and tight around his balls |

I think it was time for both parties to go their own ways. It'll be interesting to see what happens at Falkirk next season and who's in the squad. |

This has been branded about a few times on here and other places we will just have to play the waiting game.
I did like the end of season post by forest green rovers outlining what was going on player wise it was straight to the point and a good update for their fans. |

I can only assume that this would have happened had McGlynn stayed on. A new manager will likely decide on who gets a new deal potentially. |

Plausible, doubtful, possibly. |

I reckon Bene is a certainty to join Falkirk, not sorry to see him leave as he's past his best.
I would rate Spencer going as 50/50, although he recently gave McGlynn a glowing report, he may not fancy League 1 especially when it takes J McG 3 years to get out of it.
I think there is no chance of Tumilty dropping down a league, too good for that level. He only agreed to sign for us once we had been confirmed as champions.
Rumoured to be interesting St Mirren. |

Thanks for the link, RZ.
I didn't perceive any criticism of his former charges in his Falkirk interview, just a comment about footballers in general. He's obviously impressed with the stadium (except for the pitch !) and sees it as a step up from SP, even things like being able to do the team's warm-up internally before going out for the game..
JMcG seemed energised and had renewed enthusiasm and ,perhaps, some were right in thinking he and Smudger felt that they had taken Raith about as far as they could.
The larger fan base is something that he relishes.
I would like to wish them well .....but it's Falkirk, so that's a stumbling block for me!
What is worrying is something that most of us are fretting about already, namely that, clearly, other management teams and agents are very active in pursuing players, whilst we are still searching for a manager. |

I have to agree about the facilities at Falkirk, they're top notch and something we'll be very unlikely to match at Starks Park.
Didn't think there was anything accusatory in the interview at all. All very standard to every managerial interview. |

I actually enjoyed the interview, as it was a solid new manager talk, and made it clear the players had expectations. Hope for no less from our new gaffer. Understood no complaints about Raith and the players here. |

He's clever enough to realise footba is a small pond and you can often end up back at a previous club, as his career shows. So, pretty by the numbers stuff unfortunately. |
