In a strange kind of a way, I would rather crash out on points than have equal points to Partick and think "if only" for all of those games we threw away in the dying minutes. |

Although he missed a couple of decent chances what a difference Majic makes to us up front and pretty baffling why he didn,t get a longer run out earlier in the season
I know Killie were in holiday mode but thought we played some decent stuff in the 1st half but our final ball lets us down which is probably been the case since the year end
Seasons ended, thank christ _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

Heard Hughes on radio being interviewed, claiming he has done all he can since coming in but his players have repeatedly lacked desire.
Throwing the players under the bus before they are even relegated, sounds familiar!
*As for our game, so frustrating, just points out that we have thrown at least a play off spot away last few months. Played at a good tempo, good movement, well organised, created plenty openings, determination…all the things that seem to vanish mid season. |

I thought it was our best first half performance all season, we dominated, our pace, passing and attacking skills were great to watch. With a bit of luck and perhaps a better finishing we could have been 3-0 ahead.
Killie made changes for the second half but overall I thought we were the better side.
Why we couldn't play like that all season in the league instead of the negative garbage we watched???? |

What a fantastic performance from the team tonight. Where has that been the last 4 months? I thought we were in for a long second half when they brought Lafferty and Murray on ,but although they got an early goal, we were never troubled. It's all very frustrating though as we only have ourselves to blame for failing to make the play offs. A very interesting close season i think. |

Injured with a broken leg mostly. It's no surprise that Spencer getting back to fitness and form sees us back to the football that served us well for the first half of the season. Gone (thankfully) was the hoof and chase nonsense that did nothing for us in so many games this year and hopefully it's gone for good.
Great performance overall from Rovers, easily the best game Sean Mackie has played too, he was excellent for the most part. If we can keep the spine of this side and add a few new additions, ideally up front and side, we'll be ok next year and chasing the playoff's at least again.

I agree wholeheartedly, I think our inability to put the ball in the net when we were well on top in this game unfortunately sums up a large part of our season.
Nevertheless a great team effort tonight, deserved to win. |

I agree Tam.

An enjoyable game that we should have won although the required goal swing was never really going to happen.
As mentioned the season long problem was once again there for all to see - no cutting edge or real goal threat up front.
Whatever happens now I really hope this is recognised and properly addressed by whoever is at the helm next season.
Good to finish on a run of form with two away wins and a creditable draw against the champions.

I really enjoyed last night.
A performance full of spirit effort, with no small amount of good football.
We should have won it comfortably and should take plenty of positives from it.
If we'd been offered fifteen points out of twenty four from the two teams relegated from the Premiership, we'd have been delighted, but ultimately it was the one win from eight against the bottom two that is the overriding factor in us not making the playoffs. _________________ Dougie Hill

First half was one of the best this season where we should have had more goals. Second half was a massive improvement from Killie and a draw a fair result. Special mention to the huge Killie support who sang and created a great atmosphere from start to finish. |

Agreed, they were excellent. I imagine we'll be billing Killie for any flare damage to the pitch and surrounds though? Could be a few repairs needed around that goalmouth and behind. |
