Raith TV are dedicated volunteers, not investigative reporters.
Maybe they have a quiet word beforehand re possible questions.
When the Club have an announcement to make , it will be made officially.
I hope JMcG and Smudger have good holidays and trust that the hard-working
volunteers at Raith TV enjoy their well-deserved time off too. |

Actually Franco, more often than not it is Niall doing the interviews, he is the club media officer _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |

True,RZ, he does do more than eg Davie Hancock. All the more likely that he, in particular, gives JMcG or Smudger the heads up on likely questions. |

Delighted to hear that McGlynn is in advanced talks over a new deal. He is without doubt our most successful manager in recent memory.
He’s also signed a lot of players on 2 and 3 years deals so hopefully fees he has unfinished business. He has had us punching above our weight and I believer, especially after last nights game, that most fans want him to stay on. A no brainer for me. _________________ RIP RONNIE |

Strong rumours including an article by Matt Elder in the Scotsman that Ian Murray is about to be announced at Dundee as their new manager.
I have to say I’m not overly fussed. Got the feeling that if he was out of contract after the season ending we wouldn’t have renewed it. Jack Ross or Kevin Thomson would do. _________________ RIP RONNIE |

I can't see a world where Kevin Thomson would do. What's he done that would suggest he'd be the man to take us forward? Whored himself out to every club last summer for a job after deciding he was too big for Kelty and got nothing speaks for itself.
Jack Ross lives down in Northumbria and I don't think he'd be up for the commute, apparantly he's settled down there and now involved with Newcastle United.
Could see Davidson or Courts being touted if we were to have a vacancy, not sure how well either would fit though. |

Bit odd as far as I'm concerned.............IF he was on his way out why would there be all this re signing stuff and newbies coming on board when there MIGHT be a new boss coming on board. Surely there would be a lot of hedging going on by the players until they knew who their boss was going to be _________________ Keeping the Faith (and the Missionary work!) |

I guess nobody saw it coming. Something far wrong with the Dundee job. Nobody else seems to want it. They maybe want too much for too little.
Strange too that they would want someone who landed us a seventh place finish and a Challenge Cup Final defeat to Hamilton.
Pretty certain Murray will go. He did make a comment a few weeks back: "my shelf life will come to an end too", which seemed a strange thing to say. Maybe the new people didn't click with him. I trust the new board to make the right appointment. |

I'm a bit lukewarm about Murray but he does seem to encourage and sustain a bonding/camaraderie amongst the players which is very important. It doesn't surprise me that Kevin Thomson is being mentioned given his Kelty history, but such a prospect fills me with dread. |

Strange one, can't see what he's done to put himself in the picture in the 1st place. Dundee must be more of a basket case than usual.
If it comes to pass I don't see Thomson comin to SP. Rumour was the Kelty board were ready to get rid of he didn't go under his own steam.
Tam Courts might be a good shout. _________________ Competitive goals: Vaughan 16, Easton 11, Hamilton 9, Smith 7, Stanton 7, Mullin 4, Connolly 3, O'Reilly 3, Rudden 3, S Brown 1, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Millen 1, Mitchell 1, Murray, Watson 1, OG's 1, |

Davidson was practically appointed at Dens before changing his mind the morning of his planned announcement for reasons “undisclosed”
Is the Dens Park hot seat a desirable gig? Wouldn’t of thought so, relegation battle next season, if you manage to keep your job then another one the following season…
Obviously, right now, they are a bigger club, higher league, will pay bigger salary and have resources to throw at their team that we don’t so you can’t begrudge him leaving if it happens…Same time, sticking around here for new dawn and improving would lead to better and more secure opportunities than Dundee in the near future |

Absolutely crazy that hes even considering going there for an interview, hes got a job here that's at least more secure.
If he does leave us, at least the new guys know what we need so we're not scratching around trying to get players in, but we've gone from wondering who our new signings might be to wondering who our next manager will be |

It's probably the fact that they only have 4 players that's 15 players ideally you need to sign in 8 weeks before pre season starts that's a monumental task in its own maybe even bigger depending on budget promised and they only give 1 year deals aswell _________________ Murray |
