Several nose bleeds - but couldn’t watch last few minutes was so angry that the ref let a clear foul on I think Musonda just prior to goal. Imagine how bad he was for McGlynn to get sent off!! _________________ Here Wee go again |

Absolutely livid after that performance today.
1. The referee and his linesmen. Absolute shocker of a performance from Steven, who is almost sub-human at the best of times. They should be investigated for incompetence in many areas, specifically allowing play on before the 3rd goal and for the amount of times they got basic calls wrong. The numerous occasions the wrong decision was called when the ball went out of play from Poplatniks lost corner and several throw-ins that weren't and vice versa.
2. Our own players idiocy. Bene knew exactly what he was doing when he dived in on the disgrace that is Kirk Broadfoot, giving the referee a very easy decision to make. You just can't lunge in like that when you've overrun the ball, its always going to be a red. Broadfoots reaction should have had him seeing red too though.
Williamson was looking for a fight with that boy since the kick off from the 3rd goal and rightfully got himself booked again for stupidity. McGlynn as well should know better, just leave the ref to it, nothing you say changes anything and therefore is pointless. Save it and publicly submit a complaint to the SFA to highlight the incompetency. Add to that, both MacDonald and Berras injuries were mostly caused by our own players. Williamson pushed their player into MacDonald for literally no reason and Bene was the one who collided with Berra because neither of them can communicate.
3. How we lost to a team that bad? How many times did Inverness hit the ball out of play with a poor pass or screw up simple clearances etc? They were there for the taking and to a man, they're awful. I can't think of a single player in their side i'd be happy to see sign for us.
The goals we conceded were very poor, yes the 2nd and 3rd goals came when we were down to 10 men and they were applying pressure (very loosely because they were shocking) but Poplatnik just watching the corner bounce off his feet for the first, although Thomson should have got a hand on the cross anyway and Tumilty being missing in action in the right back area during the other two goals were so bad. We lacked communication all game, so many times did we have two players going for the same ball that it stopped any sort of flow in the game.
Can't wait to see the makeshift 11 we have to dump out next week in Arbroath. |

The suits will be looking out for this game.
Do referees have supervisors these days sitting in the stand marking performances? |
Gaffers got a straight red after the game, the ref supervisor needs to do something about Colin Steven |
Had been booked earlier
Hope Raith TV show all the incidents for those of us unable to attend or watch live, should be an eventful edit _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |

You only have to look back at the last home league game v ICT in October. Same ref sent off Matthews in the 43rd minute for a dubious tackle. We held onto our 1-0 lead until the 85th minute, until they equalised. |

My first trip down to Starks park for a wee time. I can’t wait to see the highlights package tomorrow as I honestly haven’t seen such an incompetent performance by all 3 officials in all my life. I can only presume this particular referee has a personal vendetta against us as some of decisions were astonishing to say the least.
The sending off for Bene I think was the correct decision, however it was unbelievable not to send off Broadfoot for charging and laying a punch on him. I didn’t see the second sending off as we left when the 3rd goal went in and were still incensed at the referee and couldn’t take anymore.
Yes our defence did look out of place after the sending off, but it’s only natural after losing the keeper and both centre half’s.
Overall I thought we were the better team, despite things not clicking 100 percent and was looking to enjoy breaking the ICT hoodoo, however once again this referee who always seems to be given this fixture and always sends off a Rovers player totally and utterly destroyed any sense of fair play and balance. He should be ashamed of himself and never be allowed near a football pitch again.
After everthing we have been through since our signing fiasco, today was very hard to take. Thank you SFA. |

6 games to go and Bene out for 3 of them possibly 4, Berra out for at least 2, McDonald could be 2 or 3 games,
That leave Tumilty, Musonda, Dick, Mackie, and Young to choose from as our back line |

And Dave McKay as well. Opportunity for him and Musonda to strike up a partnership |

Post match interview
"It wasn't hard to be upset with the referee today".
He also points out that we just can't get any breaks these days regarding key players.
I'm maybe mistaken but he might have been speaking about the referee when he said something about being petulant over Williamson second booking.
In fairness, I've not seen him so down after a game, even in defeat, for a very long time. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Heard on very good authority that the referee's assessor spent over 20 minutes with the officials after the game, which is not normal.
However, I've no idea whether the assessor was giving him his tawties or, and it really wouldn't surprise me, he was congratulating him on his handling of the game.
I know that it sounds like sour grapes after a defeat, but the club seriously need to tell a few home truths to the authorities about this imbecilic little cretin.
If Broadfoot did that to Bene on the street he'd be lifted and on an assault charge, yet this little wankbag deems a yellow card sufficient. _________________ Dougie Hill

Gary Parker Bene made a fair challenge as the ICT players had been getting away with all game the ref in his wisdom saw it differently. Bistogravy you must be a *Bleep* supporter good luck with your fishing. Back to the game how many of our players had to get crocked before that *bleep* that was classed as a referee started protecting our players that's three times the buffoon has stuffed us. Kirk Broadfoot the rangers and killie reject should be called before the beaks but there again west coast bias. Billy Dodds was always a diving little tosser. |

Yet he sent Davo off for the same thing, he's an incompetent buffoon of the highest order who needs to be given his jotters
Its also high time Refs were openly critisised without fear of repercussions, little tin gods they are not |

Game was going in our favour until Benny's shocking challenge. He has probably cost us any hope of the play offs and for me should be his last game in a rovers shirt. The ref was absolutely howling but that should not take away from the club captains stupidity. Broadfoot every right to be raging but you can't react like that and stay on the park.
Inverness celebrated like they had won the league so hopefully that will come back to bite them. A lack of class giving it big licks in front of the home fans at the end. Mcglynn's heads gone for me. We lost the game due to poor discipline from the club captain and then the ref for not given us a free kick for their third goal. Thought Robbie Thomson got bullied for the first goal. No one protecting him with 3 caley players around him but should have been stronger. Second goal was either a worldy or poor goalkeeping.
All in all a very bad day. Two players injured, two suspended and the manager probably spending the rest of the season in the stand. |
