I welcome the appointment of Susan Simpson to the Board. It is another step in the right direction. |

On the face of it, this looks like a good appointment.
Local business owner with experience in a variety of industries and organisations.
She owns the Mind and Body studio at Seafield.
I wonder if the players will be getting yoga as part of their training regime?
It might get them in the zone and help them meditate when delivering and defending set pieces. _________________ Dougie Hill

On the surface at least, the new director appointment is a hugely positive step in restoring our football club's off-field credibility, and significantly improves the diversity of the boardroom. If Susan Simpson can bring a fraction of her experience and professional pedigree to bear on re-shaping the outmoded thinking of several others round that table, then that will be a huge bonus.
However this appointment came about, and whoever helped make it happen, let's hope it's a sign of things to come. Please let it not be a 'box-ticking' exercise that allows the old guard to continue in their misguided ways under cover of political manoeuvrings. Fingers crossed, though, that this corner continues to be turned, and that further such announcements can help bring all parts of RRFC back to the fold, united again in the common goals we all share.... |

Excellent choice for an addition to the Board…I hope to see some similarity qualified persons replace some others too. |

This is a really good appointment. A local Business Woman with experience in HR matters. This is indeed forward thinking from the current Board.
Hopefully Susan can help us move toward some sort of healing process for both the Fans, and the Community.
Might it be too much to ask if she could score some goals on a Saturday as well?? |

The roster on the directors' tab on the website has become lighter.
No ceremony, no thank you, just deleted. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

Hmm, you're right. Looks the CEO has finally gone, as was rumoured.
No great loss by all accounts and another link with the DG decision now severed. |
