Voted now. It was a difficult choice and good luck to both candidates.
I hope that a role can be found for the unsuccessful party too ( if they want one ). |

Well, Well, Well.
Only 326 of us interested enough to vote for a fan's representative on the board.
That in itself tells a sad, sorry, and woeful story!
As supporters we should all be ashamed at this blatant lack of interest in how our club is run |

It would be interesting to see how much of a %age of overall trust/club membership that number relates to. Its quite low and indicative of the overall malaise surrounding the club right now off the pitch.
Congrats to Dorothy, I thought both candidates represented themselves and the club well throughout the hustings and i'm sure both will continue to represent the club in a similar regard going forward too. |

It was not an open vote. Voters had to be either an adult season ticket holder or affiliated to certain supporters clubs. That said, I would of expected the number to be greater. |

Does anyone know how many votes were cast in previous elections? If this has been a poor turnout it's probably a mixture of the Goodwillie signing and the complete collapse of the team. It will be the same at most clubs,if the team/club are on the ascendancy a lot more people become involved. |

To be quite frank, you do not connect with fans through hustings and talk. You connect by sitting with them, meeting them, introducing yourself to them, in the stands, on concourses, in the Novar, going into the supporters groups areas etc.
Deeds not words or tidy suits will make that connection.
Once tangible benefits of a fans rep are demonstrated you'll stimulate interest. |

Congratulations to Dorothy.
Steven had strong support and I hope that the Club and/or the RST ensure that he has future involvement also.
Like HR , I am surprised that more of those eligible did not vote . Taking STHs alone there is a constituency of some 1500 at least. I considered
speculating on the reasons for the low voting % , but decided to desist. |

Yes congratulations to Dot.
It is a great pity only one fans director is on the board.
However, with Steven and his enthusiasm for the Rovers and with great business expertise and experience, I hope Steven manages to get on the board or as an advisor to the board. |
