Thats generally what the media will do I suppose, it is a very bad situation for the Rovers but it was brought upon us all by the morons that brought him into the club and they need to deal with it better than they have been doing already.
Those who pushed for this deal at whatever level should take a long hard look at themselves and question whether the fallout of this was worth it and either try and rectify it and find ways to come out of this with any sort of reputation again or suck it up and deal with the consequences which will last for a long time to come.
Will future sponsors question whether they want to be associated with this club given what happened to our current ones? Will future players think twice about signing here? Will current players decide that they don't want to be associated any longer and leave in the summer, whether under contract or not? How do the club win back the fans and staff that have chosen to leave because of this decision, who covers the financial shortfall and employment gaps?
Lets not for a moment think that this is unique to Rovers, if any other team had signed him, the same thing would happen there. No one wants a player with that baggage at their club, mostly because of the indirect damage it will cause. Its bad enough that we signed a 32 year old on a long term contract for a fee in the first place, but one who's fee now also includes lost revenue as a result is even worse. |

Mainly, and she should face legal questions over the words she posted on her twitter account. He was never convicted in a criminal court as there was insufficient evidence. She created a media storm and it snowballed and snowballed and the tabloids jumped on it.
Read the transcripts of the civil case, even reported in the same Daily Record that has jumped on this bandwagon, check the archives.
I abhor violence not only to women but also to any sentient beings, I also wonder what purgatory Goodwillies wife and child must be going through right now, has anyone given them a second thought? |

If you don't agree argue your point or are you just another one of the keyboard warriors following the flock because it's the easy option. This is exactly why I hate social media, there wasn't anything like this when he joined Clyde and has had a nice quiet five years playing football and supporting his family, and then this. How would you feel if someone made libellous posts about you when you started a new job?
No I don't know the guy other than his spell with us, no I'm not his mate, I'm just pee'd off that apparently nobody gets a second chance because of social media posts like we saw today. |

There are millions of reasons to feel aggrieved about what goes on in this world and this piece of HISTORY is at the bottom of that list.Its downright WRONG.
GO and find something worthy of all your VITRIOL.
Whatever, he did wrong , he has paid for, as indeed has his family.
Get of his back and do something worthwhile with your keyboard.

| Out of touch, Cuparman. Without going into the details here what he and the other player did was utterly wrong. Lawyer on radio this morning couldn’t understand how he wasn’t prosecuted given the evidence available to the Civil Court. It’s the legal system that needs remedy (eg the accused can choose not to be questioned). It’s a very bad association fir the club, and stupid business apart from any moral aspect. |

You are poor human beings and OBVIOUSLY are not church going OR believing.
He WAS NOT FOUND GUILTY OF RAPE IN A CRIMINAL COURT.
ANY PENANCE HAS BEEN PAID.
RZ is correct about media today, everyone wants on the bandwagon.
I have no idea about more than a handful around me and I don’t go to bed at night wishing there was an exclusion zone around me.
Living your life like that, you would never sleep. And I would NEVER HOUND A PERSON WITHOUT 100% unequivocal PROOF, and even if there was and the penalty had been paid, I would leave it there .

| This morning I have had messages from my sister (who lives up North ) and my sister-in-law (who lives in England), neither of whom have any interest in football, asking me what's going on re Raith Rovers. My sister heard about it on the Scottish news and Call Kaye and my sister-in-law on Women's Hour. They both used the same word ie that it sounded ''disastrous'' for Raith Rovers. So much for the Club saying that this was a football matter. This is just getting worse and worse. |

Not enough evidence to secure a verdict of " beyond reasonable doubt" the reason given by an expert on the nine last night .
Civil case is on the basis of it more than likely it happened than not
