IF.......it is true that he is signing for another championship club, then my belief is that the RRFC Board should make a statement about how it came about and what was their part in this sorry saga that has been drawn out by whom Exactly.
We have had the answers to our prayers for a decent striker under our collective noses for months.
JM is obviously the major protagonist simply because he couldn’t or wouldn’t give him a fair crack.
People seem to put managers on pedestals and think they are beyond reproach.
Coaching is all about man management skills, the ability to coach to inspire, to lead, to motivate players and take Difficult decisions when necessary, to discipline slackers , the list is long.
They have to be multi faceted , to be all things to all players, they must set standards which if are not met, then action must be taken.
There should be no slackers, nobody who is guaranteed a starting place.
The club would be better spending ( as I hope is the case now) in getting somebody in to get as close to this ideal as possible.
IM, could well be this man, least I am praying so anyway.
The curtain rises on Saturday. People saying I would be happy with a point.....I am kinda not hoping that is this teams mentality.

While I would be pleased had we done, or DO sign him based on our limited striking options along with his apparent love of the club and rapport with the fans…he still isn’t the next Cristiano Ronaldo, we seen some poor performances when given a start so people are having a love in based on the odd cameo appearance and the diddy cup final.
He never cut at at Livi (hardly a footballing super power) and he clearly hasn’t been inundated with attractive offers since leaving ourselves as he is still without a club. |

4 way chase for Poplatnik between Dundee, Hamilton, Ayr and PT.
Unfortunately he won’t be coming to us. He is very disappointed in Raith as the only contact from Raith came last week when one of the Directors contacted Matej’s agent asking about his availability and that Ian (manager) will be in touch - well guess what, no contact from the manager or anyone else from the club.
On numerous occasions Matej made it clear to the club that he would accept massive drop in wages to remain with us but now feels very disappointed and let down by the club. |

Well that sums up the current state of affairs.
Thanks Matje
Good luck to you wherever you end up, but please take it easy against our paper thin defence when playing against the Rovers, unless, of course, you decide to go with your previous boss and end up at Falkirk.
Just a thought. 🤔 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

If this is true then it could only be done out of spite because a director made the contact, struggling to get players in you'd think he'd be delighted that people are trying to help, mind you I did read that Murray wanted him to come over so he could check him out and Pops agent told him to have sex and travel |

This is the same man that was singing Matej’s praises when he became Raith’s manager?? |
