Saw Mcglynns interview. He needs to get some media training from Dick Campbell. |

Thought it at the time and the highlights confirm - maybe if the Kilmarnock defender had shown a bit less enthusiasm for pushing Varian in the back, his arm might not have been stuck out in an unnatural position. _________________ Dougie Hill

Penalty? Probably by the strict letter of the law but a bit fortunate. If that had been outwith the box I doubt a free kick would be awarded. A wee lucky break perhaps but these things happen and often even out over the season _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Walking onto the pitch to protest refereeing decisions and getting banned type training? _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

Funny one, I DO think it’s a penalty but only because Varian had every chance of running on to the ball. If there is no attacking player gaining an obvious advantage from such a handball then I would see it as very harsh.
Dario’s pen was like something out of the Coca Cola Final! |

The only disappointment yesterday was not giving them a chorus of 'You've come a long way for nothing' a la 92/93.
However, the delicious reaction from the Killie goalkeeper after all his shitehousery at the penalty made up for it somewhat. _________________ Dougie Hill

Not much to say about yesterday that hasn't been said already.
We're still a fair bit off the boil but finding ways to win football matches. This time, it was largely down to one piece of good fortune plus pretty damn solid defendiing all round
There's a third factor, too. OK, so Killie will feel aggrieved at the penalty (wouldn't we if the roles were reveresed?). But Tommy Wright's nose-to-nose with Collum and his post-match comments were far more telling in that he was deflecting from one other aspect....
Killie may have had more possession and territory but did they threaten much? My view is 'no they didn't'. One early sitter saved by Jamma, and a toe-poke tipped over the bar but other than that nothing to trouble us. After we scored, did anyone in the ground really feel like Killie were going to equalise? No, didn't think so.
So yesterday was no great advert for the Championship, but for us, a huge plus as, unlike yesterday's rivals, we've learned how to win ugly when not playing well |

Very much the way I saw it.Apart from the players hand/arm being away from his body he stops the ball

I see it as defo pen also. Arm away from body in an unnatural position. Penalty everyday of the week. |

That's Lafferty now signed for Killie. Looks like board are pushing the boat out and backing Mcinnes. |

Next time we see Killie at Kirkcaldy is last game of the league season.
Whatever happens, as long as Rovers gets the foul whenever Dylan Tait feels a touch from behind and collapses on the ball grabbing it with both hands. He did it dozens of times in a Rovers shirt and always was awarded the foul. All I am asking for is that consistency - such that, when he does in wearing Killie colours, Rovers get the foul again, only this time for handball |

Obviously they see us 👍 (or Killie) lifting the trophy on the Friday evening.
